I am hearing a lot of Reinhart at 4 today. Not that I'm connected but as I roll through websites that's jumping out at me.
I am also seeing a slight downturn in 'trading 1OA' talk as well

I am hoping for Reinhart as a realistic #4. We have Max, the flames were his favorite team as a kid, he is uber smart and a right handed C.
Happy with any of the "big 4"

I think that any out of the top 4 are good, but Bennett will be the one to fall to the Flames.

I went with Calgary trading up to 1 or 2 and picking or ending up with Ekblad...
Total longshot but I think the Flames try and make a splash.

I voted Bennett (mostly because that is what I'm hoping for)
But I would not be at all surprised with Ekblad, Draisaitl, Reinhart or Ritchie either - complete toss up.
I have to say that I have a growing concern about Reinhart sliding and becoming the flop of the group

Hopefully Florida ends up keeping the first pick. If so it's almost guaranteed the first three picks will be Ekblad, Reinhart and Draisaitl in that order leaving Bennett for Calgary.
If they deal the pick, especially to Edmonton, all bets are off.

At this point given where the rumours have been leading everyone if the Flames pick MDC at #4 CP will melt off the face of the earth... Not even Pylon's powers will be enough to save it.

I completely agree. Personally, I like what I see from Bennett more. If Ekblad, Reinhart, and Bennett are gone, I'd seriously look at dropping back and getting more picks and good young prospect. I personally feel it's a crapshoot between 4-10. As long as the Flames don't drop out of the top 10 I'd be ok with them dropping back for more assets.

Assuming the draft order remains the same, I see the Flames picking either Reinhart or Draisatl. Florida takes Ekblad. The Oilers will take Bennett if Buffalo passes on him.
While the Oilers have a million needs, more than size or skill they need intensity and leadership. From what I understand Bennett offers that more than the others of the top-4. If Buffalo takes Bennett, the Oilers will take Draisatl and we will take Reinhart. If Buffalo takes Reinhart, the Oilers will take Bennett and we will take Draisatl. And if Bufflalo takes Draisatl (which is very possible), Oilers take Bennett and we take Reinhart.
Hm... seems our choice is contingent on what Buffalo does. Maybe we should move to that #2 spot.
