Id never watched soccer in my life until USA '94. I was in 3rd grade and distinctly remember watching Bolivia v Germany (the first match) on a school field trip to Lindsey Park. Been hooked ever since and asked my parents to put me in soccer instead of baseball.
I also remember watching the Italy-Brazil final and there was a power outage. It came back on again during the penalties in time to see Baggio's miss.

Seems like the '94 World Cup served it's purpose of building the game in the US
