Thank you, yes I am as it works all the time. The trick is the way you make the comment and how you ask the questions. There is always a story behind the tattoo's they have and if you compliment them in the right way they always love to talk about it.

The other day I was in McDonalds and this woman sitting in the table across for me had dark brown hair with red high lights in them. I told her that I see more and more women going to the high lights and was wondering why women are doing this. She invited me over and explained why it's become popular. Just as I was leaving I said her high lights went well with her dark brown hair and she smiled and said thank you.

Greatest ice breaker in the world for single girls - puppy.

I got more attention in the first few months of having my dog than I've probably had my whole life.

And then you totally hammered her

A baby, unless you have an ugly baby. Then good luck to you.

Looking back it's funny how nervous and awkward I was when trying to meet girls. Almost everyone is looking to meet someone, so it's not like it should be a nerve wracking thing.

Knowing what I know now I would be so much better meeting girls from let's say 16-20. All and all it worked out pretty well though, so I won't complain.

That's funny because I was thinking the same thing. I read a lot of the #yesallwomen tweets and a lot of the tweets about violence against women, harassment, discrimination in the workforce and feeling unsafe were very eye-opening to me and added a whole lot to the discussion.

However I noticed a large contingent of tweets about unwanted attention from men and thought that it's a bit much for women to expect to only get hit on at opportune times, and only by a counter-party that they themselves consider 'wanted.'

Sure some of the tweets were talking about unwanted touching, grinding on them without any consent, and harassing them well after they made it clear the attention was unwanted and clearly that's d-baggery and wrong, but a good lot of them almost resented being approached and talked to (Which sorry ladies isn't harassment, it's part of the basic human condition). How is a guy supposed to know ahead of time if providing attention is 'wanted' if him asking or attempting to 'pick-up' is considered sexist and harassment?

A baby is better than a puppy as that baby probably isn't going to try and hump the leg of the girl at the dogpark that you were having a nice conversation with.

Puppies help no doubt, but any dog really works well. Single ladies seem to frequent the dog parks, so having any dog will increase your chances. Walking a cat though is pretty ####ed up so cats don't work so well.

I look like Rocky Dennis, so meeting women is hard.

Do you take public transit? If so how would we identify you considering the majority of young women these days have their bitch faces on in public.

My neighbour used to have a golden retriever and she would sometimes ask me if I would take the dog for a walk. It doesn't matter what size but women over all love to pet and compliment you on what a nice dog you have. It's amazing the converstations that get started.

Never done that. Though I have been cold approached by girls. 100% due to the uniform on the train. Because I normally look like a serial killer while taking public transit.

This isn't an "Haha I'm so awesome that bitches be trippin over me" story. I wouldn't have recognized an opportunity if it knocked me over the head.

I was the guy who after a great conversation walked away thinking, "Isn't she nice, I sure hope she finds someone to help her with that map of Hawaii. I'm pretty sure a gas station will have one."

If I could meet my younger self, I'd punch me in the face.

So on the inside I suspect you're really just a puppy dog who likes to be cuddled, pampered and taken care of. It's that bitch face exterior that scares alot of guys away and many would rightly or wrongly assume you would be a hard person to live with, so they move on to someone else.

Bro-tip: Use words like 'adorable' and 'cuddle' in those conversations. It's cringe-worthy as a guy to use, but for whatever reason it works. My buddy has no business picking up some of the women he does playing this card.

You must be doing something right. I've never had a woman pet me at the park.

I find I have had the best luck when I stroke the girls hair when I sit behind them. It doesn't always get there attention but sometimes it makes it on the news and she then knows that I am interested.

This logic is flawed. If you have a baby with you, either...

1. it's your baby, and therefore, you're pretty likely to already be attached.

or 2. it's not your baby, and therefore, you're likely on the run.
