Ugh...again, I didn't say anything about his damn size. It was just the move. If he can do it at full speed in the NHL...fantastic. Was just curious if he could and get away with it. Again, just something I saw in the clip. If that was Scott Stevens in front of him...well...

I didn't read it wrong at all. That, is your opinion my friend. I have my own.
I am concerned he might try some slick move like that in the NHL and well, might not get away with it. If he does, fanfreakintastic for us Flames fans.

You seem to be very defensive about a simple play is all. There was no need to respond with that kind of spiteful sarcasm.

My opinion is that you deriving that from the particular gif you quoted was odd. You seem to the the one who's defensive about being questioned on that.
If your point is that he's tiny and might get run over pulling shifty moves at the NHL level, fair enough. That's been stated to the point of nausea. I just don't see how you drew greater concern of that from that particular play. I'll leave it at that.

Drop it man. He stated his opinion on what he saw, then you came off as sarcastic.8
Then you doubled down by playing the victim card. Which never works in this forum.

Meh, I don't see it that way but time to move on. Hope he can pull those kind of moves in the NHL. That's all I can say.

Great WC for most Flames players. Too bad Baertschi got hurt, would have loved to see him add to the optimism

7 am on a Thursday. Yuck. Sure wish we could watch it later on. 11 & 12 are a bit better, but I would imagine most of us at work at that time.

I can't wait to see what Gaudreau can do in pro hockey. He made these Worlds very exciting for Flames fans. Kid looks like a special player.

Marcel Dionne - 5'8" 1348 games
Henri Richard - 5'7" 1256 games

Yvan Cournoyer - 5'7" 968 games

Denis Maruk - 5'8" 888 games
Brian Gionta - 5'7" 776 games
Steve Sullivan - 5'9" 1011 games
Maybe my conventional thinking is wrong.

Fascinating list, thanks.
I had no idea that Keon was that small.
I remember well the Road Runner and the Pocket Rocket!
These guys played when the game was vicious...more vicious than today, arguably, and equipment was all thin strips of leather and hard plastic. Yet they thrived.
Gaudreau is making a believer out of jaded old me.

I thought it was cause you saw TSNs stats which have been wrong for a bit and are missing one of JG's apples in his stat line. Not sure if it's been fixed yet...
Sorry

I wouldn't follow TSN's stats on a Flames prospect. Keeping them up to date is not high on their 'to do' list. They can't even pronounce his name right in the highlights.

Do any of these French players look interesting enough to sign to an NHL deal?

Their star player is Antoine Roussell of the Dallas Stars. We're familiar with him.
Da Costa is in the Ottawa system. To complete that first line is Bellemare who plays in Sweden.
Not sure how they're doing it but the rest of the team looks quite weak. They have Huet in net, I don't know any of the defense.

Burke tweeted he was now in Belarus. Didn't sound like Treliving has been there at all based on his interview.
