Hell, I think the NBA wouldn't mind if the Kings made it and bumped sterling off of the front page for a day or two.
Rangers-Hawks would almost certainly be the best final from a US television perspective.

Either pairing would hit the jackpot for NBC and the NHL. Chicago is the 3rd biggest city in the USA with LA being #2 and New York is #1.

That was a spanking the Habs got from the Rangers, wow. For the series, I think the Rangers are the better team here with their forwards. Still, I hope neither team wins the cup. It pains me to hear about Richards and St. Louis (before his mom's passing) on how they were together when they won the cup 10 years ago. We don't need to see those highlights against the Flames. The Habs can't win either because the Montreal media loves to remind everyone that the last time the Rangers and Habs faced off in the conference final was 1986. The Habs won that series and then beat the Flames for the cup.

Bruce Arthur @bruce_arthur
Carey Price is out for the series, per Michel Therrien.

Canadiens Montréal @CanadiensMTL
"Carey Price will not be available tonight, nor for the rest of that series"-Michel Therrien

I'd start Tokarski if I were the Habs.

Couldn't have happened to a more deserving team. Feel bad for Price though. He's the only guy I like there.

Well at least we now know who's going to get swept in the Finals by the Blackhawks. Wonder how bad the ratings will fall for CBC after this injury.

This; Budaj is not and never will be able to measure up in a situation of this magnitude.

This is all on Alexei Emelin.

Do you go with Dubnyk, Tokarski or Budaj?

I hope it's Dubnyk and he wins a few games.

Although if this really were a magical run Tokarski stepping in and leading Montreal to the finals would be a pretty magical way to do it.

Montreal just doesn't strike me as strong enough mentally to overcome this. I think they lose tonight for spending too much time trying to "even the score" by going after Kreider or running Lundqvist, and down 2-0 its utterly impossible for them to come back. Only prayer they have of winning this series means they have to win tonight. Not sure they can keep focused enough to do it.

I'm cheering for the Rangers to win, but that kind of blows from an entertainment perspective. You want the best players possible represented in the playoffs, and he had a great run so far.

Dubnyk winning, in ideally spectacular fashion, would almost be worth it just to laugh at Oilers fans.
