I think maybe you're starting to see past your suspicions of me. I invite anyone to go back and read my posts during the game. I have consistently (except day one, but that was a pretty random vote) steered us away from lynching townspeople and toward mafia members. I pushed people to look at voting patterns, which worked out pretty well so far.
I didn't vote starseed immediately yesterday because I (a) didn't think it would be good to drop the hammer too quickly, and (b) wanted to see his reaction. Dropping the hammer quickly got us nowhere in days 1-3, and his reaction, while impassioned, didn't do anything to sway me. To be fair, I already had my mind made up anyhow.
I know you keep calling me out, but as you pointed out, we have pretty much been headed in the same direction. I probably pushed harder for starseed in the last round than anyone. Again, go back and read my posts. About the only thing I was wrong on last round was that I would die, but I like to think I messed with the mafia minds a bit.
If we lynch flameswin, I REALLY hope he flips Barrow mafia. Then you will be able to see I am trying to kill all the mafia members.

We'll actually, weak analysis leading to a town death would be yours and Rathji's fault. That's how this game works. Very poorly played game by the town, Overall.
My favorite is how you literally say my actions are so blatant that mafia would never would do it, and if I'm Town then I'm playing right into their hands. Guess who's leafing the charge there, champ?

Actually the good news is, maybe we aren't doing so bad. Flameswin gets killed, town immediately shifts attention to oling , Rathji and cbl. I get to last til day 5 and be part of a shift towards outing mafia. It's a flameswin win win.

It wasn't weak analysis. Mafia is flipped, you defended him multiple times, it was pointed out. For some reason took it personal. You've admitted to contributing nothing positive to town, except maybe your reluctant vote for starseed, while saying our roleblocker was mafia and following a similar path that starseed and bizzaro86 took (saying you would follow ineedanother etc. although in your defense you at least acknowledged that following a new player might not be the best idea).
I don't think you're so childish that you would stoop to "I don't like having fingers pointed at me I hope you die even if your on my team" so that defensive post just comes off as extremely odd.

Yeah, it was kind of childish, and I was including myself in the town playing poorly. It's been a week outing from all town members.
But trying to connect me and starseed is the weakest yet, and it's a little suspicious that two other guys are jumping on that bandwagon so early. Seems a little planned to me. Either way, town doesn't have much chance at this point, and this will be one more nail in the coffin. Happy wrong guessing and then trying to blame the guy you're guessing is mafia for your wrong analysis.

Well, at least the cop and the doctor are still alive.
Plenty of interesting evidence based on who was defending starseed so adamantly. I think we should really take our time today and hopefully we can get it right again.

I understand the measures you need to go to to defend yourself with your back against the wall, but we are the ones who got out the mafia. You did your best to convince everyone otherwise.
|
SP also moved from starseed and he is certainly town. I find it very telling that you exclude that from your 'analysis' because it would disprove your point that it means anything. You also fail to mention that I was one of the people who was a heavy supporter of axing starseed early on and was very instrumental of getting the ball rolling against him. There was virtually no way we were changing that starseed vote from a lynch, so it would have been a terrible mafia plan for me to dump on him so badly and then pull back if, as you claim, I was part of his mafia group.
I won't defend myself any more, if the town wants to come after me they can. I know when I flip it will show that I am town and I want to make sure that that flip means something.
There are much better targets out there than me, and I am pretty sure everyone knows it.
I do agree with your thoughts on Lego and CBL though. Something is off with both of them. I don't have time to do a post by post anaysis, as I start work very soon, but my general thoughts on each:
Legoman
He was very vocal on Completely early on, almost to the point of irrational support since he claimed his decision was based on a random roll. Why would you stick to your guns on your choice when the way you made the choice wouldn't have any meaning.
His spat with CC seems almost staged, and that draws my suspicions. I don't know that it means anything from Legoman's side or not, because it is CC making the accusations. Also, worth noting that CC making the accusations is likely the cause of him initially being placed in the back of my mind as a suspect.
His thing he started with ActiveStick, claiming to KNOW for a fact that he was mafia when he obviously had no idea. Again, by itself, this wouldn't mean much, but in conjunction with his other stuff, it starts to gain a bit more meaning.
I don't recall much in terms of big contributions, short of his stuff with Activestick. He seems to be randomly throwing everything against the wall and hoping something sticks. I haven't reviewed the thread with him in mind in a while though, so I could be missed something.
Crazy Bacon Legs
The big thing with him is posting a lot of noise without a huge contribution. Again, I haven't reviewed his thread with him in mind, so I don't have any solid evidence. He is much further down my list at the moment than Legoman.

Yay! Finally starseed is gone and proven Mafia. I did have his faction incorrect, and now see how I misinterpreted things into thinking he was Barrow. I will go back and look at all the evidence before deciding on what way I'm leaning next.
In the meantime if any mafia member want to start an argument with me please do. Hopefully we can sniff out a Parker member this time.
*sniff sniff, it possibly smells like Lego plastic in here right now.*

With the "success" of my past arguments with people this may be a very smart Mafia tactic.
"Lets start an argument between ourselves, then if one of us is taken out the other will look totally innocent."
We should not dismiss the idea that they may both be part of the same Mafia. Highly unlikely but not impossible. So one flipping Mafia is not automatically a pardon for the other.

Haha, reading my own post now kinda puts a bad light on me. I assure you I'm not Barrow Mafia knocking off my own members to further myself. I'm also not Parker Mafia just getting lucky.

Either way, I die and the attention turns to them and they're either mafia or townies with terrible analysis that set us way back. Either way, fully deserved deaths.
|
Unless I have lost my mind, I don't recall ever doing an analysis of you specifically. Any suspicions I have of you are through association with another person I have suspected (DropIt, in the case I think you are referring to) and are likely inconsequential on their own. To be honest, you are high on my list to be reviewed though, especially since a few people seem to have voted for you here while I was heading into work and typing these posts, but I haven't really be able to figure out why they chose you over some other targets.
I will be the first to admit that I have played a bit poorly at a few points during this game and, as a result,I wouldn't be surprised if I end up a town target. Because of this, and, as I previously stated, I am going to be laying out all suspicions, no matter how small, so when I flip people can go back and do their own review of my thoughts with the understanding that I did have the town's best interest in mind.

This. After reading through 10 million posts I am almost certain Rathji is town. Lets concentrate on the posters we have sniffed out more. I am also on board with voting flameswin but there is no hurry yet.

Then he protects Starseed hard.
If your looking for mob, he's mob in behavior.
I want to look at HG15 voting behavior tomorrow, but he started off completely random as well.
Those two would be my primary suspects for mafia. I stated that if Starseed flipped mafia that Lego would be a primary suspect for a mob flip.

I'm not even going to try and defend myself, as I'm sure everyone will be able to figure out what my motives would have been if I was either Barrow, Parker, or town. For now, if I were a town member I would completely disregard any of my previous theories/lists as I'm not confident in them anymore. I'm still suspicious of CofR and DropIt, and now a little more of CaptainCrunch - but I could be way off.
Honest question: If ineedanother has been proven town, why has he not been killed at night yet? Wouldn't that help muddy the waters for mafia?
For everyone that is considering voting for me, let me ask you this: when I die and flip Town, who are you next targets? What does my death signify? Obviously, there will be two more card flips to assist in that decision... but what will you all do?
Let me propose an idea that I believe will increase the odds of us lynching a mafia member in this day, and possibly subsequent days:
I am town and win when town wins. If it is a given that ineedanother is a town member, keep me alive and I will forfeit my right to vote for the rest of the game. Any vote that ineedanother makes, I will make the same as well. Ultimately this game is about killing of mafia, and I believe this will increase our chances.
From a towns person perspective, there is now 5 mafia members to find among 14 people. It's almost like fast forwarding a day into the future without losing a town member (and possibly lynching one).

Rathji, I was referring to the last page where you made a connection between me and drop it, saying it seemed like we were conspiring to take attention off starseed. Plus cbl and oling were very quick to jump on me as soon as the new day started.
Seems really suspicious and at this point I honestly think my own lynching will lead to diverging big in outing Mafia. Really leaning towards crazybaconlegs. I know it's odd every time someone says to lynch themselves, but I think given oling and cbl's (and to a certain extent you, although you seem more town) I'll be more useful in death than in being a back burner target That mafia can defect to if one of their own is targeted.

As a proven townmember, it's almost guaranteed that the doctor is protecting him... Unless the doctor knows something else concrete, it would almost be foolish not to protect him. The Mafia probably knows this and doesn't want to waste a kill. Anyone the Mafia kills benefits them.
Was suspicious of Rathji after the lynch and Starseed's flip. It seemed to me he piled on possibly to hide affiliation, then unvoted and attempted to sway votes in other directions. I'm definitely going to review Rathji's posts today and see if anything spikes my spidey-sense.
I'm also a bit suspect of Lego... Will review his contributions thoroughly today and post thoughts later.
