Game seven is always cool, especially when your own team isn't in and you're looking for any additional reasons to make the game more interesting.
I've been disappointed in Boston. They don't look like the team I thought they were. If Montreal wins, they've definitely earned it.

It's hard for me to dislike Subban. The only negative is that he plays for the Habs. Gross.

IMO If you need bulletin board material in a game 7 you are already in trouble.

I hate the Montreal Canadiens. I have always hated the Montreal Canadiens. They were the ultimate bandwagon fan team. If they win tomorrow I will hate them even more.

I am just enjoying the hockey and I like Montreal's compete level. Hard not to like Subban and Price but for me it has been guys like Gallagher, Bournival, Desharnais, Weaver, Weiss. These guys are bringing it and it has been fun to watch.

I never hated the Habs, and I don't really get the hate. It's not a rivalry issue. Is it their history and celebration/pride in it?
I dunno - I have to think it's significantly tied to cultural/political issues.
Obviously Oilers and Canucks hate is understandably good.
We are bombarded with Leaf's stupidity from national media, always have been, always will be I guess. Very hate worthy.
Winnipeg and Ottawa not relevant enough to hate.

A couple things
1) I doubt I will care either way, I want the Habs to win but I doubt they will make me personally pay;
2) I think you probably do hope that those stone hand goons make me "pay" on Wednesday

Why does anyone have to justify why they hate a team anyways. It's sports. All hate is irrational.

It's their fans.
Even if Canucks were not a diving, whining, dirty group I would still dislike that team because of their fans. Maybe not hate, but dislike. Montreal is sort of like this but with a huge dose of arrogance due to many historic wins. Sort of like Oiler fans in the '90's.
I also get sick of original six so somehow more worthy bull crap too.

Wasn't meaning it personally to poster, just in general.
But fair enough - you're right.
I withdraw the question

I am definitely cheering for Subban in this one.
I think the Bruins are a team of punks/bullies, and I love watching a punk get his comeuppance, especially at the hands of another punk.
The longer the 'big bad bruins' played like wilting flowers against the 'smurf canadiens', the more I tilted from Boston to Montreal.

Montreal fans are arrogant, obnoxious, and delusional which makes hating a team like the Habs very easy. Go Bruins, lets see some Hab tears, lets see another Subban temper tantrum.

So we are second guessing cheering on a well deserved Iggy cup for Subban now? My goodness. There's as many punks on the Habs as there are on the Bruins. The B's just get the bully label because their guys are physically larger. Doesn't mean there isn't as much dirt on the other side.
It's been a homer series to this point. But one team has one more home game than the other. And Montreal has been #### on Boston ice for the most part. Can't wait until the Habs are gone and this ditching on Iggy is no longer up for debate. Time to get everyone on board like they should be.
Yes, Subban and Price have done exceptionally well to drive the series to this point, they deserve their accolades. But I'm not letting that get in the way of knowing these are the frggin Habs. We know the Bruins can be better and MTL been in their heads this year. If they pul out the W, I know they'll be better.
