My love for Iginla is gone. He's not A Flame anymore so I don't really care. I think he deserves a cup and will be happy if he wins but I'm not pulling for Boston anymore. I went into the series cheering for Boston but the Habs have won me over. I think they are playing great and haven't backed down from the Bruins. Speed to burn and I think a lot of grit and toughness, winning board battles and taking his to make plays. Tones of credit to Montreal.

I wouldn't say Montreal "hasn't backed down". They would be pretty stupid to not back down from the Bruins over a 7 game series. They have picked their spots well and not gotten drawn in to playing Boston's game (for the most part).
That being said this series is still tied going into Boston and Montreal had them in a vulnerable spot and played terrible in game 5, so its not like either team has played a perfect series.

Bruins were better in Games 1/2/5
Habs were better in Games 3/4/6
Both teams lost a game the should've won. The series has been great and I can't wait for game 7.
I love Iginla and want him to win a cup, the guy will forever be a Flame. I've also been a fan of the Bruins for several years now, I love the way they play the game. They are always an entertaining team to watch. So Go Bruins

Boston will give them a spanking they won't forget.
Then we'll have a pool party with Iggy in the Habs nation's collective tears.

Not like it matters, whoever makes it out of the east should (and hopefully will) get rolled over by whoever comes out of the west. It really is night and day when you watch one game and then the other every night.
Heck two teams that were eliminated in the first round (Sharks and Blues) probably would have beaten any team coming out of the east. So have your fun Habs fans, even if you win this round it won't last forever.
Oh and I really can't believe people are just now jumping on Montreal's bandwagon. I mean really? Did you do the same in 2011 for the Canucks or 2006 with the Oilers? Shameful really. Just because the arena is loud? Give me a break. You might as well become instant Wild fans for tomorrow as well.

I agree the west is so much better but that never guarantees anything. The western winner will be more beat up and will likely have to go up against a hot goalie. I'd take Price, Rask, and Lunqvist over anyone in the west except maybe Quick.

Of course it won't last forever that is what happens in the playoffs. Making it further in the playoffs is usually more fun for fans than getting eliminated.

Did you just compare the Calgary vs Edmonton or Vancouver rivalries to one with Montreal? I know all Canadian teams have a small rivalry and they played for two Stanley Cups but it is not close. The last time they met in the playoffs 25 years ago the Flames won the cup, hardly a reason to hate the Habs.
I cheered for Boston in 2011 and Carolina in 2006, but also cheered for Ottawa in 2007. Is that okay or is it unacceptable to cheer for any other Canadian teams? Oh, and I will be a Wild fan tomorrow. I don't like the Hawks and love Game 7s.

The way the bruins are playing is making me like them less and less and same goes for Iggy. They always seem to be doing something that just seems dirty and they don't get called for it because they're Boston. I won't be sad if Iggy wins the cup but I would probably be happier if the bruins get eliminated in game 7.

i agree, subban/price are hard to cheer against, but i think boston has been my second favourite team over the past few years.
i am actually shocked at how bad the bruins look, and i think a lot of that should be creditted to the canadiens.
With GMs all talking about size/being big, truculence, 'heavy-game' type players, can anyone figure out why the habs have had so much success this series?? It can't be speed alone, as boston handled the wings pretty easily, or are the habs just one of the fastest teams in the league??

I simply love the way the Habs manhandled Chara last night. They knocked the big man down several times. Was a thing of beauty. In fact, regardless of outcome, this whole series has been a thing of beauty.
How many time have Habs/Bruins met in playoffs since last time Flames/Oilers did? 10? 15 maybe? Shame on both organizations
This is a rivalry. C'est bon

Boston was hot garbage last night. I think it was Lucic who had a great chance in the opening seconds of the first period and after that the Bruins were on their heels for the rest of the game. I've been pulling for the Bruins but I can call a spade a spade. They look like #### out there. I can't imagine either of these teams beating a Chicago, LA or Anaheim in a seven game series.

Well, the saving grace is that Montreal has generally looked terrible on Boston ice all series long.

Don't think that is a security guard, looks more like a waiter or usher.
Also the guy just above the PJC logo almost gets nailed with 2 beers, haha.

PK gets playoff hockey.
Quote:
“I love it,” Subban said regarding Game 7, per CSNNE.com. “That’s what the playoffs are all about. I hope their crowd is louder than in here [Bell Center.] I hope it gets nasty, I hope it gets dirty because at the end of the game when you’re shaking hands, whoever wins, that’s what the feeling’s all about.
“It’s knowing that you battled, you went through a war and you know what? We’re going to be at the end there standing tall.”

Yes - he definitely gets playoff hockey.
And he loves to stir things up

"It's going to be great," he said. "I can't wait for the crowd, the noise, the energy in the building.
"I can't wait to take that all away from them."
