Chelsea stay alive, but it is unlikely. They need both Liverpool and City to drop 2 points, but then, goal difference is an issue. Realistically, Chelsea can only win the title if City AND Liverpool both drop 3 points

Chomp wins PFA Player of the Year.

I wonder if he's the type to trade this individual trophy for a win today.

two big things from that, I would pay double what I do for SN World just for Sky feeds of football and pregame shows

and Jamie Carragher has become really good at punditry, I thought he was poor early in the season (especially since he was always with Neville) but he was great there

It's such a dynamic between the two.

I want them to cage fight.

They've hit the nail right on the head. I dont like the way Jose sets up his team in games like this, but there is no use in blaming them. Liverpool had panic set in and started wasting balls that they normally make use of. There was countless crosses sent in that never had a chance of reaching anyone except a Chelsea defender. You could see the inexperience coming through.

All is not lost though, City only need to lose/draw once and the door is open again.

Edit: Carra has definitely improved as a pundit. He's great to listen to now.

yep it's great, Neville right from the start was always willing to speak his mind, it took Carragher a bit longer but his comments about Liverpool not being able to complain because he's been on Liverpool teams that played that way was great

you don't need guys that just hate on everything (Roy Keane) or that won't say a bad thing about their club or any of their mates (Jamie Redknapp) just smart people who understand the game

in some ways its too bad they are limited to Sky on monday nights, and Neville doing colour on games, those two would be amazing on MOTD

Time for another NUFC futility update. Three more losses to add but there was one goal scored in those three games! How exciting!

Yes, yes, we need you to lose one more. Preferably by about 10. Just to be safe.

In an interview with national broadcaster NOS on Tuesday, De Boer said he had been informed of the Hotspur call by Ajax football director Marc Overmars.
He said that until the season ends next week, he's concerned only with Ajax, which clinched the Eredivisie title on Sunday for the fourth consecutive time.
Then, he'll be willing to entertain the possibility of a change, though the 43-year-old coach said he's satisfied at Ajax, his first major coaching job.
"I'm going to listen and talk," he said. "Then I'll make my feelings known."
He added he sees room to make changes for the better at Tottenham.
also reports that Pochettino will be interviewed as well

Theres lots of good coaches available, but honestly, I think its time they let someone other than Levy pick the coach.

That guy has 'Flavour-of-the-Week' syndrome.

Hes a hard businessman and I think we can all respect that, but its likely time to hand over the 'football direction' of the team to someone else.

the spurs coaches thing is overblown

outside Man United they have had the same amount of coaches as most teams under Levy

the exact same as Liverpool the last 10 years, less than Chelsea the last 5, less than Man City the last 5 etc.

I dont think so. It didnt particularly work out all that well for Liverpool or Chelsea or City. I mean, better than Spurs, but still not particularly well.

Honestly though, come on, hes giving coaches a few months to make magic happen and I dont think he gave either of AVB or Sherwood a fair chance.

I think all the recent firing are somewhat justified

Spurs and Levy stood behind Redknapp in his court case and he was still pushing for the England job

I would have given AVB more time, but he was playing boring football and had lost some players in the room due to poor man management

Sherwood isn't ready for a club like Spurs, he has no tactics, he's been shown up anytime they have played against a club with the same level of talent, and he's alienated half the players, if you took a poll of Spurs fans I would guess close to 90% want him gone

Add to the fact that Sherwood was the rat giving info to the papers about AVB trying to get him fired last summer and in to the fall

Really? Wow.

I agree about AVB and Sherwood, but then they never should have been appointed in the first place.
