Caught his upper arm right at the paint of the boards, don't Think he hit his head that hard on the glass. Even the guys down here don't think k it was dirty or how he got hurt.
Either way I hope he's OK stretchers in hockey suck.

Glad he's okay but it sucks that the Flames will be short a man for five minutes for laying a clean hit.

Good news. Noticed as he was leaving the ice his hands were interlocked on his chest by his own power so hopefully he's okay. Just look liked he smacked his head super hard.

Now compare Johnny's first goal celebration to Nail's. Different class.

Wasn't a vicious hit, didn't seem like contact with the head was made. Nothing to see here.

Down to Roger Millions who has an update on Sedin.
Sedin is still hurt and we're all crossing our fingers.
Thanks for the update, Roger.

Nux fans calling for blood on CDC. Never change nux fans, never change.
Maybe when Burrows spits out Bergeron's fingers, or gives Kessel his hair sample back, we can talk about retribution.

So since he's going to be ok, can we start speculating as to how Botchford is going to make this another way to get TV time?

The Refs have decided to put the game in their own hands. Nothing the Flames can do with them gifting Powerplays to the Canucks. If they give Byron the major at least penalize one Canuck for retaliating. This whole game has been a joke.

A follow through pushing somebody's numbers IS careless. Byron could have let up and had time to do so.
Careless plays, and no respect for another all season(yes Canucks are guilty too) has led up to a potentially serious injury

Without a doubt. If Daniel wouldn't have kinked his neck going into the boards the play would have gone on and nobody would have batted an eyelash. The officials didn't even have their hands up and called the penalty only after they felt a player motionless on the ice warranted some sort of call.

they will probably throw the book at Byron because he is not a well known player
wasn't even a bad hit that happens all the time, just a bad result
