He saw Byron coming and stopped and turned. Yes Byron is at fault, but typical Canuck fans blowing it out of proportion. Garbage

For the record, I don't think Byron had malicious intentions; it was a hit that went bad.

that looked pretty minor compared to other boarding incidents.

Dumb hit, but a little surprised at the outcome. Didn't think sedin would need to be stretchered out.

I have very little sympathy for a player that puts himself in a stupid position just asking for an injury. Turning away from a hit 2 feet from the boards is about as dumb as it gets.

Lol cp. If that had been Byron going down you would all be calling bloody murder.

Byron should have let up.

Yeah, even from the slow-mo replay you can see that Sedin took the brunt of that hit to his head as it slammed into the glass.

Obviously hope Sedin is okay, but how can you fauly Byron when Sedin didn't even resist. You can't just expect to not get hit since your by the boards and he saw Byron coming.

Edit: And who ever the canucks were didn't get a penalty for bashing Byrons skull.

I don't even think the push was that much, but yes he pushed him.

Since when is following through on a hit careless? Sedin turned away at the very last second and Byron is coming in way too fast to react. This is just an unfortunate byproduct of body contact. Daniel should have been paying better attention.

So is turning your back on the hit 3 feet from the boards. Works both ways.

Drove 5 damn minutes to the pub and missed Johnny's goal. Obviously I'm gonna have a lot of driving to do next year

Well refs called it a charge, so they didn't agree that it was a hit on the numbers.

McGrattan telling Johnny to watch his ass now. I hope Hartley puts Johnny on McGrattan's line next shift just to make sure Burrows, Kesler, Bieksa et al don't go Bertuzzi on someone.

he was trying to wiggle his fingers

the game stopped for 10 minutes as he was stretchered off with his neck immobilized

"blowing it out of proportions" by saying it was a garbage hit
