That is what I have been thinking too, every other player that posted as much info as octothorp was killed off by the mob yet octo is still alive? Also, he has posted a lot of info yet he never voted on the last lynch. He has provided a bunch of info but really if he is the assassin that would be smart as it pulls all the attention away from him. Something smells rotten there. Right now unless something says otherwise I am leaning toward octothorp as our last guy we need to get.

I am on the same boat as dissentowner. We have always seen the most vocal guy getting picked off. The fact octo is still left, either points towards him having a special ability which he has not announced or the fact that he is the assassin.
Him siding with the players for the mafia kills will make sense, since he would want to be the last man standing.

Also I think my chain of role blocking stazzy, who was unsuccessful in his role block, should help prove that I am a player.

If Octo was the assasin it would have made sense all game for him to side with the players, and be vocal about it, so that once the mafia was gone he'd be trusted. If he's the assasin he's done a really good job of that
I'm glad you guys see what I was saying, I was subtlety pointing out Octo seems to be the assasin, if I just flat out pointed a finger at him I dont think it would work. He's been very quick all game and successful at turning the tables everytime hes been targeted
I have to say UCB has been saying he thinks Octo is the assasin almost since the start of the game, but I wasn't sold completely. It makes a lot of sense at this point

With the role of Serial Killer, that players goal is to be the last man standing. They are on thier own, and they get to make 1 kill every night. On top of that, the Serial Killer usually gets 1 ability, usually One-Shot according to the Wiki link ive posted. The serial killer can also be immune to being tracked or watched, which would explain why no one was able to see him do anything suspicious
Octos ability was One-Shot, which he used on HuntingWhale
Vote: Octothorp

I'm okay with being voted off, as long as when y'all realize I'm a player, you take a good look at the events that lead up to me being voted off.
And if there is a Wood / Undercoverbrother coalition, remember that tomorrow will be your last chance to vote either of them out before they control the majority and win the game.

If you want to play that game, I suggest if anyone doesn't believe Octo is the assasin then kill me today, see that I am in fact what I say I am, then vote Octo tomorrow

I am content that Octo is the assasin. If you want to kill someone instead of Octo, then kill me, I put the idea into his head.
At that point you will see that I am a player and so is Octo.
Even if I am dead I still win if the players win.
At this point it is a choice.
Octo or Undercoverbrother.
Time to decide.

I'm no more suspicious of you than anyone else. Actually I'm more suspicious of Agulati and Dissentowner at the moment. I'm just pointing out the simple math that if a two person faction with a kill survives today and tomorrow, they win the game. I think that's an important thing to remember. Until you tried to scramble together a quick lynch, I was willing to trust you.
vote: agulati

What reason do you have to vote agulati though? He's used his role block and theres enough reason to believe him
There's actually evidence that you could be the Serial Killer. If it was anyone else I see no reason why you would not have been killed last night. The fact that the Serial Killers ability is generally One-Shot, which we know for a fact was your ability, is the biggest piece of evidence we have against anyone left in this game

His posting pattern is consistent with posting enough to blend in with the players, but never really sticking his neck out.
His ability does seem suspiciously underpowered. Most of the other underpowered abilities (like dsavillain, street pharm) had some 'fun' element to them.
He announced that he used his ability only after it became obvious what the consequences would be. After timbo announced he had roleblocked me, he announced he had roleblocked timbo. This is a use where there's absolutely no way to know if he had used it successfully, and only served to create more uncertainty (since Timbo's claim would have exonerated me, and Agulati simply countered this claim, exactly what an assassin would be motivated to do).
I'm more inclined to believe Dissentowner's claim of receiving a message, and I strongly believe the killer has the message ability.
I'm highly distrustful of Stazzy too, but the potential for his ability to still help us makes me want to hold off at least one night.
I admit it's not a lot to go on. I have five competing theories, and if I were to put a percentage of confidence around each of them, each would be not much higher or lower than 20%. But Agulati is, by a slight measure, my highest suspicion, and if I'm going to go down, I'll go down voting on my strongest instinct, not on what I think will save my skin.

Are you reading about serial killer having a one-shot ability here?
http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Serial_Killer
Because I think you're misreading that. I read it as being they can have one-shot bulletproof, or unlimited bulletproof. Not one-shot kill, or unlimited bulletproof.

It was stazzy I role blocked. I am just seeing you trying to blame someone and throwing the blame around. If you want to take me down today, you can do that. But keep in mind, when you see I am a player, I was sceptical of Octo.

You are correct, I meant Stazzy, not Timbo. My argument remains.

Please ignore Bring_Back_Shantz's post...if he was actually running a game on another site then he would realize that you NEVER make posts like that in another game.

Great thing about this game is that our arguments remain after our deaths.
