Great episode.

I think the guy in the clearly serves two purposes:

One it allows Rick to show he is focused on his group only, and that he has hardened up to helping others

The second is it shows the dangers of ignoring those around you. I have a theory that clearing guy is from Terminus (maybe not). He seems to have no survival gear. He is also less than a day from Terminus. It makes me wonder if they had helped buddy, perhaps he would have filled them in on Terminus.

You know, I forgot about that part... good catch. Really ties the rest of the first Terminus scenes together.

yeah don't bother.

Why not just say :"hey guys, I have a big spoiler, if you want to know PM me.". You can then send out a mass PM.

Well what's the point of the spoiler tags if you can't use them to post spoilers?

I also like the Gareth character, he reminds me of someone off The Following normal Joe who just happens to be a serial killer with no remorse, I think the cannibal terminus group is more of a cult then anything that might have been good to start out with but with the pressure of the zombie apocalypse broke them and they went off the deep end. I think Beth is going to turn up within Terminus as a converted cult member and after chopping up Tara for dinner she will snap out of it, risk her life to get the guns to rick and break everyone out of the train car, then get killed herself...

I don't really like the creepy concentration camp feel to Terminus, but seems like a good plot twist.

One thing that bugged me was why does the lady have to continue to read her lines when speaking on the radio broadcast? are you telling me they couldn't find a freaking computer or something to loop the same playback?! and if she's been doing this presumably for weeks or months does she really need to read her notes while following her finger along the lines!?

Come on Strombad, this thread is full of:

Is that a spoiler or speculation?
Is that from the comics?

Easiest approach is to just not put them in.

I'm thinking Beth has been herded into a crate already somewhere. If the funeral home is a trap, then it was almost certainly set up by Terminus to capture up some cattle. It would also give more purpose to that otherwise ho-hum Beth/Darryl episode.

So all the powered milk bags on the ground by the train car, would that really fatten the people up? Or is that just so they get some sort of nutrition vs starving to death? You would probably want to give them decent food though so they had decent amount of meat on them?

Generators, turbines, solar, batteries. There are probably plenty of sources of power available.

With regards to the episode, I thought it was really good. Wasn't really that keen on the flashback scenes though. I know what they were trying to do, but it fell short, I think.

Here are some behind the scenes videos from the finale, they give some insight into what happens in the episode (so if you enjoy speculating this might ruin it for you) and talk about where the characters may go from here. None of it is a spoiler if you have seen the episode, but it does put an end to some of the speculation in this thread about the finale. All of them are done by The Walking Dead so obviously they aren't really giving anything major away.

Inside the episode:

Spoiler!

Making of the episode:

Spoiler!

Speculating where it may go from here, pretty vague:

Spoiler!

If anyone played the Walking Dead episodic game series you would know the cannibal one was by far the best and had major tension so I'm not surprised they would fit that in the show as cannibals are scarier than walkers because they are organized and can think for themselves and trap you as appears to have happened.

Makes for a promising next season.

I am just trying to think back- did they encounter him and then see the Terminus sign on the ground? I thought somebody had mentioned maybe that was another escapee from Terminus, and that if they had saved him maybe they would have picked up some valuable info.

The one strategy they could have used to save the guy- he was in an open field. Why not run (spreading out)and once on both sides of the zombies start hollering. Give the zombies more than one target, and then they could take on the zombies a few at a time. Maybe create a new ally in the process?

Or was it a case not where they can't save everybody; but that they can't trust anybody else?
