8 points up on the slackers and tankers up the road with 10 games left. I think we can consider finishing ahead of the Oilers as a certainty.

Going into the season I said that if we finished ahead of them then its a very successful season.

Now I'm looking at those one point losses and our struggles in December. Vancouver has 3 more wins then us and Dallas 4.

Oh and we've now outscored Vancouver in one less game.

Also if someone would have said that the Flames would be 5 games under .500 I'd say get the f$$k out of here.

Looking at his time on ice, you can see Wotherspoon is winning over the coaching staff.

When he first came up he was getting the SOB treatment - 6th defenseman, give the other guys a rest type role (10-12 minutes/game). The last three games, he's been up in the 16-17 minute range.

See I think he just went ######ed for the live show to get more publicity. He doesn't seem to sing like that normally.

But damn, it'd definitely looking pretty good with some of those prospects in the line-up.
Hartley has been the best thing we needed in years and I agree with you about the job he has done but coaching a team and finishing in the bottom 5 does not and should never award anyone as coach of the year. You don't win a gold medal to be the most exciting and hardest worker.

A band that showed up nearly 30 years too late. It's like someone is re-uniting the Thompson Twins. At least that's what they sound like to me.

Before the trade deadline I didn't want Cammalleri back next season, now it pains me that he'll most likely not return.

Does anyone have a picture of the coilers jersey being tossed? I would like to add it to my collection

I like Colborne
I like Wotherspoon
And I like post-injury Ramo a lot!

Starting to feel really good about our situation in goal. Between Ramo/Ortio/Gillies, I think we can find a solid tandem for the future, without needing to look elsewhere and spend unnecessary assets. But of course, we should continue to stockpile our goalie pool with picks once every second draft, in case we can find a gem there.

I like Wideman but I hope he just take the rest of the season off to recuperate. If he comes back, it means Wotherspoon goes back to Abby since they recalled him due to Wideman injury.

The highlight of the night for me was how Bouma blocked a shot. On the bench.

Eric Francis being positive is the most surprising thing to me. He's much more likeable this way. Jeez, who's next? Moon??
