Really awesome to see that Ramo can provide us with steady goal-tending. The flames are winning games because all players are showing up. Hats off to that beautiful assist from Wotherspoon also. It is exciting to see we finally have some D pieces other than Brodie that we are internally developing.

At the 1:52 mark of the third period, the equipment guy or trainer kisses Monahan's stick. Here's a screencap:
Tough to tell from a still, but trust me, he definitely kissed it. Surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Would have been nice if he scored in OT or shootout.

I was so prepared for heaps of disappointment after the trade deadline. I spent time convincing myself it'll all be worth it, we'll get through it, for the greater good, and all that stuff but what we are getting right now is damn fun to watch. This is fun.
