Because for the guys that read the comic and are commenting on it, it gives them some false sense of superiority in that they can constantly complain that the comic is better and the show is ####....even though they keep watching it.

The comics are not over (I don't read them). I reckon they will go till they no longer sell.

No they are not over. I said that in interviews people involved with the show/comic have often said that no one is safe, but that if anyone was closest to being safe it was Rick.

I don't think it's a spoiler to say that Rick won't die anytime soon. It's more of an assumption than a spoiler.

As far as I am concerned the show/comic started with Rick and it most likely will end with Rick's death.

Obviously a spoiler the way he presented it.

Since I love making rulings, I find Diemenz guilty of weirdness for getting upset someone called him dude.

Very happy the thread title changed to something normal. Don't have to read the annoying 'hehehehe' again.

I haven't even read the graphic novels, I'm going off information that they say every week on the talking dead. I will in the future refrain from mentioning what I hear on there if it infuriates a few so intensly lol, I thought everyone watched that show

I have been interested to get into the comics but I assume I'm a good 200 behind.

Don't worry, 200 books of the Walking Dead is a solid half hour of reading. I know people refer to the Walking Dead as more Graphic Novel then Comic book but it's more Archie then The Watchmen.

From a person not involved in your disagreement your post also made you sound like a 'dickwad'. So maybe you both can just call it a draw and let it go, or take it to PM?

So no thoughts on the latest episode?

The tunnel scene had some good creepiness to it. The part where Glenn is shining the light through the narrow passage between the rubble had me saying, 'no man, don't go that way...'

But the way they tried to get through there again had me asking questions. And it's a question I had been thinking before, just never voiced here. Why don't they ever use that trick again where they smear walker blood on themselves to pass walkers anymore? Seriously, they used it in the second episode, and it was Glenn of all people! Why not do that again, at least use it as a back up plan just in case things do get hairy?

It's the same old problem again where their characters all of a sudden get stupid to advance the plot. I get the part about panicking in a crisis, but this is something they have done before, and they had time to think about it. I didn't bring it up a few other times it had happened cause I thought, maybe it wouldn't work there, or maybe they didn't have time there, but really. Why wouldn't they use something they know works?

From a writing standpoint, if they wanted to use that trick, they introduced it to the series WAY too soon. It'd make more sense if the characters figured it out years down the road, and you wouldn't have to explain away why they are not using it these other times.

Kind of feels like a fumble in episode 2 that they just want to bury at this point. Creative? Quite. Just not a great idea for story writing since you paint yourself into a corner or plot holes.

I don't have any huge complaints for this episode, overall it was pretty good.

I am worried about how rushed Terminus is going to have to be. They have been building up to it for this whole half season and only have one episode to explore it, as well as the reunion of some of the other characters. I guess technically they have nothing to really wrap up before the break so the episode doesn't have to focus on anything else.

It's weird that there was only the one lady at Terminus. My sick, twisted mind is telling me that it's some kind of cannibalistic human meat factory.

Glenn decides to walk through a dark tunnel full of walkers with limited ammo and a flashlight which almost gets them both killed because he wants to see Maggie so bad that he's willing to make choices that yield the lowest rate of survival just to save a few minutes. The other three go to the road and get to the other side of the tunnel with time to spare (driving in circles). Glenn is an idiot.

I don't think we are going to see anything significant about Terminus this season. The next episode is going to focus on the characters who haven't made it there yet. Should be a doozy, and it will probably end in a cliffhanger for Rick/Carl/Michonne.

Terminus has potential to be something really grim, not sure how they are managing to keep a nice clean area with open gates when the group could barely keep the prison fences from collapsing on a daily basis. I think it's going to be a long summer for fans.
