I seem to be getting jumped on by about half the posters on here, which is fine, because 3 years hasn't allowed the idea that "Winnipeg is no Good" to sink in yet for most of us. Using some pretty simple logic, however, proves that this thread is actually very valid and is in fact more needed than the other two threads. Let me explain:

1. It has already been established that Edmonton is no good because A ) their fans are annoying B ) the city sucks C ) the team sucks.
A ) I would argue that the self patting on the back, screaming for attention from other fan bases and creating of "ranking the Canadian teams" thread that only got bumped when the Jets were doing well proves that Jets fans are in fact more annoying than Oiler fans.
B ) Though Edmonton might be the Anus of Alberta, it's pretty evident that Winnipeg is clearly an inferior city to Edmonton and therefore is the Anus of Canada.
C ) While the Jets have put together a team that is better than the Oilers lately, one can't deny that history speaks for itself.

So Edmonton > Winnipeg

2. It has been established that Vancouver is no good because A ) They have no Stanley Cups B ) Their fans are annoying C ) Their team currently also sucks.
A ) Winnipeg and Vancouver are equal here, but with the original Jets/Thrashers/New Jets never making it to the Cup finals ever, I give Vancouver the advantage here.
B ) Again, Jet's fans antics detailed above are much more annoying than anything Canucks fans do... though I think Canucks fans have them beaten with the rioting we experienced a few years ago. At best this is another advantage to Vancouver, but we can call it a tie.
C ) See standings.... Jets suck more than the Canucks.

So Vancouver > Winnipeg

Therefore, if Vancouver and Edmonton are both no good the surely Winnipeg is also no good.

Also, this is all for fun and games. Some of you take the internet way too seriously.

How exactly? The fans don't really have any control over what Katz does. Thats my point. The management is terrible. I don't think any pro sports fan deserves a management group like that. They haven't been on the rival radar since their reincarnation 3 years ago, so this thread is a little early. However in the 80's the Jets were Calgary's number 2 most hated team behind Edmonton, so I could see the tone of this thread changing in the near future.

I don't have a hate on for the Jets at all. The few Jets fans I know were/are Flames fans so there is no animosity there. Need to meet them in the playoffs to change anything

Summers in Winnipeg are significantly better than in Calgary unless you like a daily high of +20 that feels like +12 over +25 to +30 for 3 months straight.

10 years ago, one could have argued that the mosquitoes made Winnipeg unbearable, but they're much better now and Calgary has gone from not having any to becoming a breeding ground.
