They are all really close together actually. Not much gas at all.
As mentioned, we make a 2 hour trip to get stuff for the week and both enjoy it. Not a big deal really. Guess I could be sleeping in until 2 or something or sitting on my ass playing video games...who knows what I would do with that whole extra 2 hours?

You win in the end because you have a wife that's as frugal as yourself haha.

Only frugal because we have to be. If I had a ton of money I would shop wherever was closer and easier and wouldn't care about price.

Sorry, that was a bit from Family Guy. Lois told Peter that he was being esoteric, and then it cut to a scene inside Peter's head where men in a boardroom were trying to decide what the word esoteric means, with the conclusion that it means "delicious". Peter then told Lois that whatever it was that they were talking about is not a food. Guess my post was unintentionally esoteric as well

Work-oriented nonsense RGMGs. I just had to fill out one of these "personality assessments", and I could've told them the results (I'm independent-minded, understated and don't care what my co-workers think of me) without wasting my time on the test. Does formalizing this on a test really benefit anyone other than the "genius" who convinced management to spend money on this thing?

Do you get to see the results of other peoples personalities? Because that is where the value is. I have done these twice and found that people I had difficulty getting to understand things or getting them to meet ojectives were in fact not idiots but instead just had personality types that didn't mesh well with my form of instruction. So as a new manager finding out some of these things was valuable. 90% is common sense but I would say each time I did there was some value. Most of it being in how to deal with other co-workers to get the most out of them.

I will get to see the others' results, but this just highlights another reason I see this as pointless: I work in a location where I'm the only employee, and my interaction with others in the company are so minimal that you could actually argue that I never work with them.

Judging by your previous post, I would say that this is a very good thing.

The hover curtain. Hate that. What you need is to add one of those heavier, decorative curtains that hangs on the outside of the tub. That'll keep the air from pushing on the plastic inner curtain.

Getting killed in CP mafia so quick. Sucks not to be able to post in the thread anymore.
The good thing is though, the players are so good. Two first guesses were right, that's some damn good sleuthing. I think we'll win this thing.
It's such a fun game to follow along with. Interesting trying to decipher who's lying and who isn't. Are the guys who post all the time and who always have an intent in their post to not vote for a certain poster or group vote a random poster management trying to subtly sway the group away from other management kills or players with lots of time on their hands?
So many questions, such a fun game.

You Know What Really Grinds My Gears....The Sequel!
Man, this has really been pissing me off for a while. I hate when I'm at a bar/restaurant/whatever and some guy is watching his favourite team score/win and he obnoxiously yells or claps his excitement.
It's perfectly acceptable if you're with a group whose sole purpose is watching a game, but if you're just some asshat with a buddy or two at a pub sitting with a larger crowd of people who are not there to watch the game, S... T... F... U. It's jarring. It's rude. It's fataing annoying.
And yes, I know there is a gear grinder thread. This is bigger than that, which is why it deserves its own thread. [Mod edit- no it doesn't]

It grinds my gears that we lost all the responses to that original post.
Sliver can you not bear to be around these people?
PS: life is a hard journey for you, isn't it?

I'm bummed, too. I didn't get to see any of them. I woke up this morning, saw there were 29 replies and I was going to read them while I ate breakfast. Then poof, they were gone.
Nah, life is great. I just have a low tolerance for inconsiderate behaviour.
P.S. Did anybody think I had a valid point, or did everybody disagree with me?

Basically you became the bad guy. Light heartedly of course, but no, nobody even came close to agreeing with you. Lot of jokes at your expense.
