It was on the Canadian version where a team dropped their bags while running to the pit stop, but they were out of the host's sight, so the team had to go back and move them to be within his sight.
I assume the US version has the same rules.
My understanding is that once you check in to the pit stop, you're checked in and can't go back out to get something you have left behind.

She hasn't been as annoying this time as she was the last time. I don't watch Big Brother, so I have no idea who she is outside of the Race.

Nope not that I can find in the rules...(unless he didnt have his fanny pack)
Teams are expected to keep the Race fanny pack containing their cash, passports, clues, and other documents with them at all times. Teams that do not have these upon check-in at a Pit Stop are required to go back and retrieve the pack and any missing mandatory contents (e.g., passports) before being checked in. In one case, during Season 21, a team had one of their passports stolen by a cab driver during a non-elimination leg that was followed by a leg in the same country. The team was checked-in last for a non-elimination finish and allowed to race in the following leg but would be eliminated if they still lacked their passport by the time they were required to produce one for international travel. Teams may check in after losing or abandoning any non-mandatory items (e.g., items of clothing), but they must continue the race without them.

Joey and Meghan give DOOM and brocoli their first hits in the race.
Another "doh" moment looking for a taxi in the countryside. Some decent challenges this time, building a raft and floating through some class 1 or 2 rapids.

Well, I was stuck with them, so I'm okay with it. Just get rid of team "Brachel" and this will be a very enjoyable season. She is just too annoying, especially on the raft.."we lost the raft"...no you didn't, it's up stream and will come down with the current

I told my wife that I am going to start muting the TV whenever Rachel is on.
Looking forward to next week, although it could be tough on one of my picks

I'm loving the challenges this year so far. Atleast they are tough.
Feel bad for Joey and Meghan, they seem like good people who enjoyed the Race and the experience. Jessica and John don't really give me any sort of assurance that they will go far so I think I might be out next week.

No luck elements this week for teams in the back to catch up. Flights were staggered; no waiting overnight for a museum to open up. I don't mind some "even-up" elements, but not every week.

What a joke. If any other team finished last they would have went home.

More often than not, in recent years, the fourth leg has been a non-elimination.

Dammit Phil! Just eliminate them!
Another good episode, the bartender challenge was a good one and I don't think I would have been able to do that.
The Cowboys look like the team to beat so far. They just work really well together.

Believe it or not she's really improved compared to what she used to be like. It was really, really hard to watch

I understand the dislike for Rachel as she is annoying to watch, though honestly I think the teams that were exceptionally nasty to her last time around were more annoying because of that nasty streak, I am soooooo glad the near 30 year toddler has been eliminated.
Lesson for future racers....don't go the connection route if you don't have to UNLESS you can't get a ticket on the direct flight. Counting on standby was a silly decision. Surprisingly smart move from Rachel and her less annoying partner. But they won't be around long...they just aren't good at the tasks and lose so much time.

Connor and Dave and the Cowboy bros seem like the two teams to beat right now. Consistently solid in challenges. Flight time and Big Easy rounding out the top 3.
