I think Knight is here next year so they sent him down. I don't think they are sold on Hanowski yet and want to see a bit more of him before making a decision on him.
Agostino, I just hope he can skate at the NHL level.

From what I saw at Dev camp, Agostino is one of the best skaters out there. He won't have any issues.

Agostino along with the 1st round pick were always constants in the Iginla negotiations with Pitt last year if you listen to what Weisbroad said. Hopefully he has what it takes to be a player at the NHL level.

Very true. My point was Agostino seemed to be #2 on the Flames list over Hanowski when it came to that deal

All the pieces of the Iggy trade are now locked up. It may not have been what most were expecting in return, but if at least one of the 3 become full time NHL'ers, then it's something. 2 of the 3 would be amazing. All 3 would be outstanding.

Yep. It would be outstanding. I can actually see Aggy and Klimchuk making the NHL for sure. Agostino looked really good to me at the prospects camp and I think he may be able to become a good 3rd line winger. One of our more underrated prospects. I'm glad he's signed up.
To stray a bit off topic though..
The best part about this deal for me; as a big Gaudreau fan is the fact that Aggy and Gaudreau have known eachother since they were in primary school in New Jersey, they were rivals all through out their minor hockey careers and are now good friends. iirc they are both in the top 5 all time scorers in NJ high school hockey.
This just goes to solidify my opinion (like most) that Johnny will almost certainly sign here if not after this NCAA season, then after the next.. I know if I was Johnny it would be awesome to play in the AHL/NHL with Arnold and Agostino + a bunch of other guys I'm sure he knows well from the NCAA, USA juniors or flames prospect camps.
