only ones I found in 2012 were Alex Killorn, Eriah Hayes and Spencer Abbott, and those could only do it because they signed AHL try-out contracts and had their NHL contracts start the following season. Unless Agostino did something similar, he won't be able to go to Abbotsford this season.

I believe Agostino's contract is already in affect if there is a possibility for him to play tomorrow.

Just play him tomorrow, Bob. These things are what make the end of the season fun to watch.
Monahan - 19
Granlund - 20
Wotherspoon - 20
Reinhart - 21
Baertschi - 21
Hanowski - 22
Knight - 22
Ortio - 22
Colborne - 22
Bouma - 23
Brodie - 23
Byron - 24
Backlund -24
Good collection of young guys so far, early in the rebuild. It'll be interesting to see if Sven can take the permanent step next year and what guys make the jump with him.

or once the season is over it's no longer seen as a loan. Either way I suppose we will know for sure when the Flames season ends. Unless Burke is asked directly.

I wish all the small tweaks last season due to the shortened season were known

With Stajan returning and Agostino joining the team, I wonder if we'll see Knight and/or Hanowski sent to Abby?

Not to nitpick but I'll do it anyways, Colborne is 24 and Backlund is 25 today.

sadly I don't think this it ... Sustr played his first AHL game on April 5th last year, but the Lightning only ended their season on April 27th ... I think sureLoss is right, probably had to do with the lockout.

I think Hanowski will go down when Agostino is ready to play and Knight when Stajan is ready.

Just for reference this is what 13.12 j says:
Quote:
(j) A Player may be Loaned to a club of any league affiliated with the League at any time up to 3:00 p.m. New York time of the fortieth (40th) day immediately preceding the final day of the Regular Season (the "Trade Deadline"). Following this period, no Player may be Loaned, except that:
(i) a Player who has been Recalled during such restricted period under Article
13.12(l), 13.12(m), or 13.12(n) may be Loaned back to the member club of the affiliated league from which they were Recalled;
(ii) a Player who is on the Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/Illness Exception, or
who has been unfit for 24 calendar days and ten (10) NHL Regular Season
games, may be Loaned on a Bona-Fide Long-Term Injury/Illness Exception Conditioning Loan (with the Player's consent) pursuant to Section 13.9 above for a period not to exceed the longer of six (6) days and three (3) games (which Loan is not subject to any extension), provided, however, if the Player is not on the Bona-Fide Long Term Injury/Illness Exception, he cannot be Loaned while he is on Injured Reserve; and
(iii) a Player may be Loaned (with the Player's consent) provided such Player
(a) was on Recall and was determined to be disabled as of the Trade Deadline, (b) is determined to be fit to play prior to such Loan, and (c) was on the Active Roster for less than twenty-five percent (25%) of the period from the beginning of the Regular Season up to and including the date on which he was determined to be disable

Great news! Agostino was one of the most impressive at dev camp last year, can't wait to see him play again.

Stick him with Monahan and Colborne. Could be an aggressive forechecking line.

Stajan and Galiardi would be my choice. Cammy has been working well with the kids and he is helping them grow as players

I like this player. Stoked that he signed. Could be a decent third liner.
