I understand  the reaction from his teammates was justice enough. Anything beyond that is petty vengeance; it's a violent game. Hudler should've been more prepared for contact, and I would bet he takes the proper lesson from this.

Good hit. Full marks tho to Butler for sticking up for a team mate.
He probably wouldn't have done that under the prior regime/Sutter.
He's undervalued and playing better. Likely why he wasn't moved. Along with few options at this point of course.
