Good hit. Shoulder to shoulder. Thats the impact of lack of size Burke keeps mentioning though.
Hope Hudler isn't out too long. Good on the guys on the line to go to war for him though. Even Butler.

I don't know if that's clean, I hate seeing players get hit towards the boards at that distance.
No big deal though as long as there's no injury.

Yeah, I don't think it was a dirty hit. Dangerous because of how Hudler went into the boards, but the initial contact was clean.
I loved the response by Butler. I normally don't like when teams go after someone every time someone hits someone, but in a situation like that one, it was appropriate. Good on Butler.

hit to the head? no
hit from behind into the boards? no
he just was hit in a spot of the ice and being smaller he was flung like a rag doll.

The contact point on the body is fine, but you can still get a penalty for boarding, and it's very easy for someone to get hurt when they're at that distance and get hit into the boards.
It's not something I'd dwell on as being dirty, I just hate seeing hits like that.
