These are the kind of losses I can take. Although I do ####ing hate the Wild.

Yeah I'm not sure if wideman has recovered from his hand injury? He was great for the powerplay early in the season

Sounds like the Jones injury is rather serious. I agree with the previous guesses that it was his shoulder, it sure looked like that:

Really liked Granlund's game in the third. Every shift he made something happen. Would have liked to see him out there with the net empty. And his defensive awareness is much better then I thought it would be. Hope he can keep it up.
I always say this, but I love Byron's game. Doesn't back down and just keeps going. Thought he had another real solid game. Nice to see Cammalleri get back on the scoresheet. Russel had a tough game. Just seemed to struggle handling the puck and getting rid of it at times. Overall have to be pleased with the effort.

Russell definitely played better before signing his extension.

Every game Byron proves more to me that he's an NHLer. He's getting so fricken tenacious out there, must be coming with extra confidence that he can play with the top guys. Still don't see him long term as a Flames player but think he's definitely graduated from being an NHL tweener to a legit NHLer. Could see him maybe with the Flames one more year and then Gaudreau supplants him full time by next trade deadline.

On a different note, I thought Roger Millions did a great job with a really tough, canned answer, generally unwilling to honestly answer interview in Bettman.

Joe Colborne could stand to spend a night in the press box.
As is usually the case, the effort was there.

Why should he spend a night in the press box? He wins almost every battle in the corners and gets great puck possession in the offensive zone. He's been pretty good considering the amount of ice time he gets.

Agreed, one of Feasters best pickups. He's more valuable then Butler IMO.

Because Colborne (and Monahan) failed to stop Perron from walking right between the both of them and scoring what would be the only Oilers goal. Banish him to hell for that because mistakes are not allowed!!!
But no, on a more serious note, he has been pretty solid.

I haven't had time to go through the thread yet but is there a GIF or video of Granlund's assist? Was it worth seeing?

Granlund sure looked awesome in this game. Kid is going to be a player. Lots of jam and skill. Great mixture.

Too bad about Jones but honestly I'm way more excited to see someone like Reinhart in his place.
