[QUOTE=sun;4636754]lol that puckluck quote is hilarious. Hope it will live on in infamy like s7ark's robbie shremp quote or henriksedin33's quote about wanting to play the Kings in the first round.
Good stuff. Wish he would make a sock account to defend himself.[/QUOTE
Its priceless, no doubt. But nothing beats Wolven calling out that troll Bingo...

We did it. The Golden Double Double!! (2 golds in hockey, 2 golds in curling)
It was beautiful. Anyways, I just woke up from my post game sleep, which was nice after one of the longest days ever that included a 9 hour work shift and spanned 5 meals. But it was most definitely worth it.

This just had the same feel as the Superbowl. From the outset the game was never in doubt. Even when Sweden was close to the same level of compete you could tell they just didn't have enough in all facets of the game to make this a game. It made for a very boring, though non-stressful, game.
Kudos to Canada for building what is as close to a perfect team as you could. I don't think any other country could match the players to the game plan aswell as team Canada did.

I'll admit that I dozed off more than once during the game. There was very little drama after the first goal. I had no concern.
Good thing though, I don't think I could have handled the stress of another game to the degree the Women's final was.

Considering that team might have been the best team I have every seen play hockey, those puckluck quotes are jaw dropping.
So happy for the guys to win gold. They really outworked every team, and it was nice to see.
Doughty and Toews earned even more respect from me after this tournament. I always had a tremendous amount of respect for how they play, but it reached another level after watching them play on arguably the biggest possible stage.
 sad the Olympics are over.

On a totally different point that is only vaguely related to this game (but I'm sure was inspired by the result), anyone know a cheap place to buy and/or when the Canada jerseys might go on sale?
Pops wants one, and I can't bare the idea of paying full price for one of those.
