Pub was fun this morning. Packed. Glad I made a reservation. Couldn't believe how many cars were on the roads at 4:45am in Lethbridge

Woke up and at 5 am and watched the game together with my son at home in our PJ's. Great experience.

I was at the Maple Leaf in London for the 12pm start. It was packed and a crazy atmosphere as you might expect. People were pretty loose at the end of the game...

Was at my buddy's place for 7:45am (8:00am start time here). Beers were opened and just after the first goal the cops showed up. They stayed for a while catching some of the game.

Now I'm at the junior game still drinking. God bless Nova Scotia!!

Tried Hudsons, was all booked out. Was going to go to the Rack at 4:15, but decided on Elephant and Castle- and managed to get in before the doors were unlocked!

Yes, I saw that. Good on you guys. Pretty Impressive how much people get behind the international play!

Didn't go to bed lastnight it pretty much was the only way i would be sure to be up.
Our Family watched the game at 5 like most dedicated rabid Canadian hockey fans. It was a first having friends show up with their kids at 5am, crazy.

Overdid it on Friday, so just had a quiet viewing myself. And then went back to bed, haha.

Woulda liked to see the bustle, but at the end of the day, not a big deal, I've seen bustle before. I remember doing the red mile before it was the red mile in 02 when we won gold. Was great.

just curious, how long was the lineup - how long did you wait?

was going to go there, but it was too cold for the old people in my party to wait outside

I didn't wait in the lineup, thankfully. It seemed pretty long but apparently it was gone at puck drop.

I wasn't there but heard people who lined up for over an hour were turned away at Shanks North. Saw a picture of the line and it was massive. Feel bad for the people that didn't make it in.

So I set my Telus PVR to record the channel 200 broadcast. A channel which as of last night, showed in the channel guide to be the Men's Gold Medal game.

I woke up this morning to the sound of someone shoveling the walk out in front of my townhouse. I then hear some addict outside talking to someone going on about how he's been sober for a week, and if he saw the hockey game. No no no! I immediately got out of bed and left my room so I wouldn't here him anymore. I turned off my phone so I wouldn't see any txts from people celebrating. I get to my couch and the stupid PVR channel listing now shows me as having recorded 2 hours...of General Hospital. FML, you've got to be ####ting me. At some point in the night, Telus decided to change their channel 200 listing from the Olympics to General f'ing Hospital. It actually was 2 hours of the pregame/game I recorded, but for some reason was labelled wrong.

Then the deadliest part of all began...trying to find somewhere to download/stream off the internet. By some miracle, I was able to find CBCs stream of the game. Luckily adblock turned off all the banners and pretty much kept the site bare other then the stream. It was a close call, but I was able to watch it without knowing the outcome.

I think next time I'll just wake up early. I gambled...and almost lost horribly. It honestly is nothing short of a miracle that I didn't find out the outcome beforehand.

Not one to make reservations I made sure I was in line at the Ship by 4am. When I got there I was maybe 15 people in and that line got pretty long pretty quick. Got one of the good seats, awesome time.
