Do you think Wenger will up his bid to 40 mil and 2 pounds?

If Liverpool don't make the Top 4 - Suarez is off.

He could be off even we do make top 4, but it won't be to Arsenal.

81 crosses for United today. Moyes is finally getting them to play how he wants.

Rene Meulensteen: "United's approach was straightforward. Get it wide, get it in the box. It can be easy to defend against."

Man City/Sunderland and Everton/Palace are postponed due to weather. Swansea/Stoke is under second pitch inspection.

Swansea/Stoke is going to start at 8:00 I think now, due to traffic problems apparently. Looking forward to it.

Yeah, I hate winning games like that but what can you do. I never understand why fullbacks go to ground there, that play was so harmless until Riether took Sturridge down.

Its good to know that the FA still has a few schemes up their sleeves.

Quote:
The Football Association is trialling the use of sin bins and general secretary Alex Horne is keen on making more radical moves to aid match officials.

Players spend 10 minutes on the sidelines for every yellow card and Horne told The Times: "We should be testing these things to see if they work or not.

In running the body which owns Wembley, he is also interested in having an American football franchise based there.

The stadium already hosts NFL games but Horne wants them to become a permanent part of the calendar - and insists the previous plagued pitch could handle it.

"The damage to the pitch is not so big with Desso turf, the plastic stitching," he continued.

"It's football's home, England's home first and foremost. [But] if we could find another tenant that fitted in and worked, I would go for it. We owe it to ourselves to see if it can work.

"Then we can get the Super Bowl," he said. "You don't rule anything out."

Looks like Fulham have sacked Rene Meulensteen in favour of Felix Magath.

What did I miss?

Quote:
Howard Webb has escaped being relegated to the Football League after his refereeing of Arsenal's FA Cup win against Liverpool drew intense criticism from the Anfield club and from pundits.

The Premier League are reluctant to demote officials unless they have produced a bad run of games and try to avoid reacting too quickly to what can be one-off errors.

That was just Webb being Webb. Didn't give an incredibly blatant penalty when he was in perfect position to call it. Missed a few other things too, but none as big as that one.

Should have given Liverpool a(nother) penalty after Suarez got fouled and then flopped around like he does. Also should have sent Gerrard off for a second yellow. I'd also argue that he could have booked a couple of Liverpool players for flagrant dives but that may just be a biased Arsenal fan talking.

It was on a channel that I dont get and I was insanely busy this weekend but I didnt get to see it.

That said, I'll take the 3 points in the league and not having to keep a fairly thin and injured squad in another cup campaign.
