Springs1 is a woman? Well that explains a few things and why she may be hard on attractive female servers.

I'd be curious what your thoughts on junior hockey players waiting tables with a portion of sales going to charity?
What if all tips went to the charity?
Would you still tip if the servers were volunteering for charity with a portion of sales and the tip going to charity?
For example: http://www.capebretoneagles.com/arti...lebrity-server
I will note it doesn't say tips go to charity but let's say they do.

btimbit you should invite Springs1 to your restaurant and record the I goings. You'd make a fortune selling the video footage to forums all across the interwebz!

I don't like saying online where I am currently since people have a habit of taking peoples personal comments and using them against their business. I'd much rather be myself than have to worry about backlash because of something I said online.
But in the past I've been with a few different Earls', Phoenix Grill, and for short periods of time with a few different smaller restaurants and pubs in advisement and training roles.

I immediately thought of Helen Hunt's character in As Good as it Gets! Springs1 being the female Melvin Udall.

There's only one way to tag a post like this when you see this many cornholes (asterisks) at once:

You may say it's not high end, but the prices were OUTRAGEOUS.
In 2011, my husband and I went to BR Prime(that's Beau Rivage's fine dining restaurant)
http://www.beaurivage.com/restaurant...g_brprime.aspx
Ok, so our bill is $293 or so(a bottle of wine my husband ordered was $89, which the sommelier was the only good part of our dining experience which we tipped him $10 cash). Our waiter forgot my margarita from the bar with NO apology, NO comp. He took 8- 10 minutes to get the 1st coke and 8-10 minutes to get a refill. So for almost $300, the cheapest steak was $89, we had that crappy service as if I was at Denny's or something. The manager or maître d' of the restaurant didn't even comp one coke off the bill for the crap service, especially the NO apology just is wrong. My point is, fine dining as far as prices goes and the scenery means *************ABSOLUTELY NOTHING*************. I have tipped over 30% at a Chili's even. I have had a zillion times better service even at an IHOP even.
So stop saying that I will have better service at more expensive restaurants, because it's all about *******WHO SERVES YOU if they are lazy and uncaring or not or even NICE even*****. At the donut shop/diner I worked for I still apologized for no tip at the drive-thru when I made a mistake even. I can't imagine not apologizing for a mistake for a tip. If I bump into someone on the street I say I am sorry, WHY would anyone not do that if they want your money? We tipped 12%. Not because of the outrageous prices, because of the no apology and long waits for drinks(BOTH KIND of drinks). If he would have said he was sorry for the margarita, 17% instead of 12% INSTANTLY just for being *********NICE***********. That sorry goes a HECK OF A LONG WAY. You act like you could care less, your tip will show it.

I had always assumed that Springs1 was the woman in the pic that she posted on her first post. It was kind of an odd thing to include in the post after all.
And the woman in the pic is a ginger, which would help explain some things...

There's no way that's her.
If you google Cindy Orley (the writer of the posted article) you'll see she's a freelance writer.
You'll also notice that the article has punctuation and paragraphs.
Then again she did order the Mild Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadillas (I can't tell if the bacon is crispy or not).

No. You sound like an idiot to say that. I just googled pictures of food from restaurants and got that. I may have specifically looked up chili's plates of food or something like that to get that. That's not me. That's a GOOD REASON why you shouldn't have a picture on the internet.
There's also a mexican young woman that has the name "Springs1", but that's not me either.
I truly don't have any pictures on the internet of myself. I don't have facebook or instagram or myspace or anything like that.
Even if I didn't do this hobby, I wouldn't want someone to say that I was 5lbs more or whatever. That hurts. 92lbs in 12th grade, now keep my weight between 98-99lbs give or take a pound or two either direction at times, but in general, that's what I keep my weight at.
I also wouldn't want people to save my picture on their hard drive. That's CREEPY to me personally.

No, then I wouldn't tip just like I don't give the Ronald McDonald House at McDonald's, same thing. I feel the person earning the pay, working hard for the money should get the money. If that person wants to donate it, that's their choice.

No, because we have had perfect service before MANY of times before. Usually it's with servers that we have requested and knows us, but the first time we had those servers they did a perfect job as to why I wanted them again. We have had servers at restaurants out of town that did a perfect job that we never saw again as well.

I already know they may not like me, but I believe at some point if they really don't like me they will just do something on purpose to hurt me to get rid of my request. I truly believe most like me in general, just not the WORKLOAD I give them.

Springs, I think rather than continue to do this, you need to find ways to let this insanity go. From one human to another, this could seriously be a case of mental illness, and if it is, it would be good to get started on diagnosis and treatment.
I know you're waiting eagerly for the next food related post so you can go off on another five paragraph tirade. But this post right here is the one you need to take to heart. Your obsession isn't normal, it shows signs of mental illness.
I know everyone on here is egging you on because they want to see more, but seriously, just stop, and think about how far you've gone with this over the years, so that you can move forward and figure out how to deal with this.
