Haha agreed. Gotta love the guy, but last season into the start of this one Brodie was typically guilty of 1 bad give-away per game. I wouldn't fault him on it because he played amazing the rest of the game. I'm no longer seeing those glaring mistakes and he's playing against other teams top lines. This kid MAN is a stud.

“@Fan960Steinberg: #Flames winning goal tonight changed to David Jones. His ninth from Stajan and Wideman.”

Finally Berra won the game in a regulation time!! I really feel for him because he came so close a few times then whenever he plays well, the offense dissappears. I am sure leading 3-2 with the game almost over and the Islanders on power play, we, including Berra is wondering if he will finally win his first regulation time win.
Time to settle into the idea of Draisaitl or Dal Colle. I like them a bunch all of a sudden! Weird!
Grats to Berra for getting the regulation W. Much needed confidence boost.
Backlund just keeps on truckin' even with the hype and speculation surrounding an Olympic invite. Great for the future showing that kind of composure. Excited for the next few years.
Wideman came up with a good game, hopefully he's finally found a way to overcome the rust from coming back from injury.
Monahan isn't going to catch MacKinnon in the rookie scoring race but at least he's keeping up. Kid is going to be spectacular in the coming years.

Interesting Stajan being the 1st star since he had a fairly non-descript game offensively other than that tie-breaking goal (edit: which has now been credited to Jones). I would've given the star to Backlund or Brodie. Good on him for being alert enough to get past Hickey and then throw it toward the net though.
