Great gritty win. I love this team. Get rid of the passengers tho.

And so begins the annual tank job for Edmonton, Florida, and NYI. No matter how many top picks these teams get they always seem to show up at the bottom of the standings.

Gotta give props to Brodie for making two really smart plays on that last shift to keep possession and seal the deal. Really smart plays.

Congrats to Berra, got the monkey off his back. He's played pretty well the past two games.

6 wins in last 7 games, pretty good for a crappy rebuilding team.

It's becoming a regular comment:

Great games from Backlund, Brodie and Bouma.

Monahan too

That shot block and clearing of the puck by Bouma was stunning, he's fantastic on the defensive end and I'm loving what he's bringing this year.

Was only able to watch the last half, but damn that was some exciting hockey as always.

Brodie is SO composed in his own end ALL the time. And I'm not seeing him make the odd rookie mistake which I'm pumped about.

Bouma is the definition of an ideal 3rd line winger. love it.

Wideman is putting up the points and not the minus', pretty happy with his improved play.

How can you not be happy for Backlund? You'd have to be the friggin devil.

I bet Backlund will lead the team in goals by the end of the season. Any takers?
