Basically thanks in general doesn't seem to be very well written from a backend point of view and was causing significant performance problems, so we've taken it out for now. It'll come back at some point but some stuff will have to happen first.

I totally understand why the ability to see your Thanks statistics was taken down, and I agree with it.
I just wanted to say I miss it, and I don't know what to do when I need a self-esteem boost anymore. Perhaps I'll have to replace posting on an internet message board looking for approval from strangers with something meaningful in my life, religion perhaps, or maybe pay attention to my wife? a couple of times I've accidentally thanked posts when using a touch screen, i.e. phone or tablet. looking those up allowed me to do periodic cleanup, but I guess that's no longer possible so at some point a crazy drunk/trolling/neo-nazi/pro-oilers post is gonna get a thanks from me that will stay until we're able to search again.
