Ha ha I can see why he loves it so much! I am leaning towards airsoft which seems to be the trend. Are children even allowed to use airsoft guns?

I thought I was going to get into airsoft about a decade ago, and bought a few hundred bucks of stuff, but have never actually played. I suppose part of me dreads being mocked for wearing some sort of face protection, but screw losing a tooth to a plastic BB. I was waiting to decide what kind of electric SMG to buy, so I bought a Tokoy Marui spring powered Benelli M3 shotgun. I also have a pretty sweet gas-powered Desert Eagle where the slide blows back with each shot like a real gun. I also had some junky spring pistols where after a couple hundred shots they fired at about 30 fps, to the point where you could watch the BB arc through the air.

I am still on the fence but really want to get the gear and play.

I figure 950 for rifle and pistol, 200 for gear, maybe another 200 for odds and ends. All in with high quality weapons is $1,500.

Quad: you should go out, I am going to wear something to cover my mouth. I am worried I will invest and not play, or play rarely.
