My strategy has been to go forward heavy initially since the top goalies were all gone by my 2nd pick. My team to date:
Forwards:
Crosby, H. Sedin, Sharp, Benn, Alfredsson, Pacioretty, XX
Defense:
Ekman-Larsson, XX
Goalie:
XX

There's only one goalie left worth taking right now, I won't name him (Even he will be a backup imo). With you and Franksen both needing a goalie, let's see who gets him and who is left out in the cold.
Those could be important 10 or so points, would one of your forwards make up those points? You better hope so.

I determined the point totals for all the goalies from the 2010 Olympics using the scoring system in place for this pool. Only Luongo (7), Miller (7), and Lundqvist (6) scored more than 5 points. In attempting to identify forwards that would be top six (Sid, Sedin, Sharp) or possibly top 6 with PP time (Benn, Pacioretty, Alfredsson) I am betting the combination of Sharp, Benn, Pacioretty, and Alfredsson get more than 10 points in total.
As someone said previously, the pickings are going to get pretty slim for forwards soon. Based on the scoring from 2010, skaters from Canada, US, Sweden, and Russia should make up the vast majority of the scoring leaders (except Hossa). Picking a 4th liner on a powerhouse or a 1st liner on a lesser team is going to get you the same number of points as the goalie I will select.

Kind of scared of taking him with how his stats have declined recently, but I'll take Dustin Brown. At least I know barring injury he'll play every game in the tournament. Plus he can run Luongo with the best of them.
Brown - Getzlaf - Backes
Tarasenko - Jokinen - Radulov
Timonen
Miller
At least my team isn't short on leadership.

I can only think of one too, and yea he'll probably be a backup. Glad I picked a goalie when I did.

This is getting hard. I'll take Ryan Callahan.

With that all US forwards are gone in the top 88. Not bad.

Slim pickings buddy! These late picks are going to be the deciding factor I think.
There are some descent picks left but not many...

Only one, maybe two of those guys will probably be playing. So you're better off that they're gone.

I'm going full Feaster and acquire the best goalie currently not in the NHL, Alexander Salák!

I thought you were gonna end it with Reto Berra. Thank God, that man is no longer running the Flames.
