Finding employees to help you at most Shoppers is a complete pain in the ass. I doubt she was able to find one; I know I've looked for ones in vain many times, and gave up. Terrible customer service, and their store outlay is pretty bad as well. It's no wonder she couldn't find as something as simple as pickles, as they could be in the corner of the store by batteries, deodorant, or something.

I would never even have thought you could purchase pickles at Shopper's Drugmart. Mind blown.

Not to wander around to see if they sold groceries.

Usually, one doesn't make this discovery until they live much closer to a Shoppers than to a grocery store.

Hi, I am interested in your condo and would like to set up a viewing.

ten minutes later i respond "OK, these are the available times for viewings, give me a call at xxx to set something up "

No email/phone call.. nothing. It has happened more than actual people responding.
A call at xxx eh? I could maybe see why you're not getting called back. Baddabap peeeeeesh

Onto my newest GMG (actually it's old but... needs refreshing). #### southbound Elbow Dr. during rush our at end of day and in particular #### that ####ing ####head that had his car out-of-order blocking one of the only 2 lanes on an already borderline impossible southbound road.

What's that? You want to drive south? Bend over bitches, because none of the southbound roads WORK. Good lord city, people drive SOUTH from downtown. Let's start construction on 14th and then we'll keep the lights red at Elbow for 45 mins per interval. Sweet, then people can take Macleod and get boned at the torturous light signal intervals there too.

So some assjack gets his car stuck on Elbow SB and it just TOTALLY mangles the commute.

Got a phone call this afternoon from my physiotherapist telling me that my application for AHS funding for my visits was denied due to the length of time between my wrist surgery and my application. She made mention in the application that my surgeon never made me aware of the 7 visits covered by AHS and asked they extend the deadline because of that. It appears AHS didn't care and now visits will have to be paid by me

Then the damn cashier gets all besties with this girl and they start giggling about how there's always one thing you can't find as they both casually stroll off into the store together.

I literally had both arms outstretched and went "seriously?!" as they walked away. Like ****, talk about two failures in one incident.

shopper: If you can't find something, ask an associate before you get to the counter, you dumbass.

cashier: Don't take her request as a chance to go for a walk and get away from checking out. There's like four ****ing associates throughout the store, get on the damn intercom and call someone.

I don't know why I have such a high number of gear grinders from convenience/drug stores. Maybe I just need to start going in with the mindset that it will not be convenient, and then just be pleasantly surprised the odd time when I'm out of there quick.

Having the same company provide health benefits as my wife, GMG.

In a normal situation, with different benefits providers. Coordination of benefits goes something like this: pay you 80% of reasonable fees, then spouse benefits covers 80% of the remaining. When you both have the same provider, there is absolutely no coordination of benefits. Great West makes it virtually pointless to have coverage for each spouse if both are under them (through different employers).

My wife and I are both with Sunlife and we work at different companies, they have been painless with coordinating the benefits.

It's probably just Great West. Not my first choice in plans, but as an employee I don't think I have much choice. Can't exactly opt out of group benefits and ask for something else.

It grinds my gears that these were given out at my daughter's school, yet we were given no prior knowledge of when it would happen, nor were we asked if we wanted one to be give to our kids.

size

Spoiler!

It also grinds my gears that this is presented as "answer book".

^ I'm not familiar with the "Answer Book", but I'm assuming that it is some sort of religious thing. Is the school part of the public system? If so, my gears would be seriously ground if my kid came home with that.

It is a new testament. At the front it has a section for question:

IE: you want to know where to look up drinking, it give you a reference, etc.

No this is a public school.
