Fair enough, it could have been phrased differently, perhaps. But those who took offense in it and accused me of being sexist should not radicalize the statement just because you disagree with the premise for as long as you acknowledge my right to believe in that premise. My statement: "I believe that some sports make women look less feminine" was converted into "Women must stay home, mend the children and cover their faces" or something like that. Don't you see the difference?
Black people shouldn't play hockey. It just looks weird.
Whether or not it's an opinion, doesn't make it any less exist/racist/ethnocentric/whatever.
That's complete BS. Then a statement from a female: "Guys should workout, because it makes them look more masculine" would also be rendered sexist in your interpretation, yet it's a fair statement that is hard to argue with.

You know you could just stop, and this would all go away.

It definately is a statement which objectifies men.
Although still less offensive then your statement because it is inclusionary rather than exclusionary.
My gear grinder lately has been with people using snow on the ground as an excuse to park like inconsiderate pricks. Yes, I realize you can't see the lines, but would it kill you to not park your car half a car width from the car beside you? And if you can't properly judge space when you back in your vehicles, it means you suck at it and shouldn't back it in in the first place. All you jerks parking like that effectively kill a lot of normally available parking spots.
Sounds like GP. Huge pickups parked diagonally and haphazardly. I went to the theatre the other night and the entire parking lot in that whole complex was a cluster####. Add to that, people speeding around the lanes taking turns without signalling.
Bell is really grinding my gears right now. Our satellite has been out since yesterday called for support, and they're quoting $75 to have someone come out to look at it, and then pay for whatever to get fixed on top of it. Get ####ed.

CaptainYooh and jhunt need to team up and make a He-Man No Girls Allowed Club, where they could talk endlessly about the evils of girls playing sports and the probable vaginal expansion that it causes

It grinds my gears when I miss hilarious derailments or someone going full ######. There really needs to be like an alert that directs every one to those types of threads whenever they happen.

So, I had to rent a car in Grande Prairie for work and I was absolutely shocked to find out that none of the car rental agencies rent cars with winter tires. It is complete garbage.
Add on to the fact that the majority of their fleet is 2WD and anything with All wheel drive / 4WD is booked extremely quickly.
I had to do a fair amount of highway driving up there and the roads were absolutely awful. I honestly don't know how someone can drive in Northern Alberta consistently without winter tires or 4WD. I will not be driving up there again unless I can be absolutely certain of the weather in winter.

GP is like that in July...

In line at Shoppers on the way home from work, behind a girl with about 15 items, and I have one. No bid deal, it happens.
She puts down all the items on the counter, then goes "oh and btw I couldn't find pickles, do you know where they are?"
Then the damn cashier gets all besties with this girl and they start giggling about how there's always one thing you can't find as they both casually stroll off into the store together.
I literally had both arms outstretched and went "seriously?!" as they walked away. Like ****, talk about two failures in one incident.
shopper: If you can't find something, ask an associate before you get to the counter, you dumbass.
cashier: Don't take her request as a chance to go for a walk and get away from checking out. There's like four ****ing associates throughout the store, get on the damn intercom and call someone.
I don't know why I have such a high number of gear grinders from convenience/drug stores. Maybe I just need to start going in with the mindset that it will not be convenient, and then just be pleasantly surprised the odd time when I'm out of there quick.
