how was the colts run defense, just curious.
I think with NE it's tough to quantify stats. Bellichik can scheme for a particular opponent.

The Colts are marginally better than New England, ranked 26th against the run. The Chiefs probably would have massacred to Colts if Jamaal Charles didn't get hurt.

Haha 49ers have been to the NFL championship every year for the last three so not quite similar to Oilers living on past glory. And 5 Lombardis is impressive regardless, 2nd most in the league I believe (only behind Pittsburgh).
Should be a good match-up on Sunday, I just hope the Niners do the NFL a favour and eliminate the steroid/adderall using and clutching/grabbing puddle-pigeons.
Go Niners!

Respect. If I'm going to get in a pissing match with Cheese it's going to be in the OT forum and I'd better pack a lunch!

Trying to break up the monotony of playoff discussion here.
The following article shows an NFL game is actually only 11 mintues long.
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...erage-nfl-game
I guess the 11 minutes only include the time of running and passing the ball and exclude the time linning up in the line of scrimmage.

Yeah it totally neglects the actual time before the snap setting up the play, which is really quite important. On 4th and 1 it's not like the 45 prior to the snap are wasted, there is the anticipation of the snap, the QB trying to draw them offside with a hard count, motion, audibles. The article seems to ignore those aspects of the game.

I'm a 49er fan and there are a bunch of 'Hawks I like individually. Wilson, Baldwin, Earl Thomas is a hell of a player. Yeah, there are a bunch of grade A idiots, but there are some of those on every team. I just don't like them because they are in the NFC West.
Go back to the AFC, you new kids on the block!
