If my memory is correct, aside from the Detroit game (where Joey Mac started), Berra has started (and lost) every single game in the new jerseys. Ouch.

At least they'll end up getting us Ekblad! If we wear them all year next year, we'll get McDavid...

I'd rather not tank in 2014-2015 and try to start the winning, at least enough to be seriously in the hunt. We'll probably barely miss the playoffs and be content with one of the McDavid consolation prizes (Eichel, Konecny) It's better than sucking it up hardcore to get McDavid himself.

The players should just refuse to wear them.
When asked why? "Look at our record when we wear them".

The Fan-Attic stores are Flames org owned, so of course their going to push them. They'll push them if they aren't selling to try and get numbers up, and they'll push them if they are selling, to make more money.
But I wouldn't be worried about them ever phasing out the Flaming C or the general jersey design as it's been since the Flames moved to Calgary. As disastrous as our third jerseys have been (retros notwithstanding) the organization has done a pretty good job with with the logo and brand overall.
Look at the messes in Vancouver and New York Isle, teams with more history than the Flames but still not a recognizable brand/logo. Or at least as recognizable as they should be. The Flames have never messed around like that.
The Flaming C has been mentioned as one of the best non original six logos a few other places league-wise. It's a great logo that has never been changed, and I think the owners/management and anyone who would ever occupy those spots see that.

Hehe, I have my jersey set up so it's the first thing I see everyday.
I love the alternate so much, regardless of its terrible record. Clean and classy look, but the numbers do take some getting used to

Amen to that. I got my Monahan 3rd for Christmas as well!

The retros use the same technique though and everybody seems to love those.

That's because the fonts are actually decent on the retros.

Well the record matches the jersey. Both are awful. I think I actually liked the horsehead better than these monstrosities.

Have you forgotten about the horsehead abomination?
Keep the Flaming C as the primary logo on this and it would not have been quite so bad. The best Flames jersey has the big Flaming C. Not a fire-snot breathing horse head, not a small Flaming C tucked under the word Calgary, but a Flaming C. I'll proudly wear the Flaming C on my chest, and I won't buy any other Flames jersey that doesn't have the big Flaming C as the logo.

I will admit, I would cheer for those jerseys to run a full 0-12 if it meant that our front office was proactive and flexible enough to pull the plug on them. It would be a legendary story of failed 3rd jersey cash grabs.

Be the first to wear the worst!
It's good we won't be in the playoffs for a few seasons. If we were, the C of "red" would be a hot mess of black cowboy shoulders, blue Alberta patches, and Ronald McDonald stripes.
Let's hope the Flames come to their senses soon. This shizz is embarrassing.
