That's the point. It's not like the canucks are doing anything different than normal. This is classic Tortorella hockey, it's halfway through the season, there's lots of film material out there, no excuse to be caught off guard by the puck pursuit and aggressive D pinches.
8 shots on goal.

Man i really hate this team that Feaster has put together.
They are soft and with the exception of McGrattan and Bouma, they don't physically engage. It's not even about hitting, it's about battling and competing.
The Canucks are barely pushing this physically yet it's like men versus boys out there.
Flames constantly shying away from hits and contact.
The deadline can't come soon enough.

I can't believe how much Stempniak has dropped off since his injury. Streaky or not, it really feels like he will never score a goal again

Goody, goody! The brains at SN West are going to tell us what the Flames should do with their UFAs. I've been waiting for some intelligent discussion on this topic.

Now that I saw it again, I tried to tie it together. I NEVER would have got that if you didn't explain it.

You didn't say that in your post. Seemed you were just complaining about all the Nucks talk.
Regardless, again, nothing interesting to talk about where the Flames are concerned there either. Trade the UFA's and rebuild. Everyone knows that. Nothing else to talk about really.

Considering how pathetic the Flames have played in this game, it's astonishing that they're only down 1 goal. But they won't have a hope in hell of tying this thing if they don't crank up the effort level and start shooting the damn puck.

^^ Feater built most of this mess, but what happened to the 'work hard from whistle to whistle'? Like seriously, did BB's holiday trade freeze freeze their care level??
Berra seems to care. It's like the Kipper era. The goalie is the only one who gives a damn. I don't expect to win a lot, but I at least want to see guys say the ******* puck is mine!!
