What? Most teams play the same system all year...

The Flames are shooting, it's just the they're not hitting the net. Plus SOG is flawed stat.

So I've now completely wasted about 4 1/2 hours of my time this weekend watching Flames hockey. This team has really sucked over these last two games, and that scrappy never say die effort level we saw over the last few weeks has all but disappeared. What's the deal with these guys right now? Too much Christmas cheer maybe?

Very impressed with O'Brien. He has deceptive offensive ability.

Of all the adjectives I'd use for that move by Hudler, gutsy is far down the list.

Well, I guess being only down one in this pathetic game is a positive. Berra has been good. Everyone else - bleech! Pull it together boys.

Flames are trying to be fancy everytime they have the puck offensively. I am thinking in order for the Flames, they will get a garbage goal. 5 periods without a goal so far.

The only problem when he goes all Bobby Orr is that it usually leads to an odd man rush against.

Flames really not much fun to watch anymore. It's too bad, they used to be a lot of fun. Now it's just frustrating and boring quite frankly. The only player that seems to cause any excitement right now is Backlund. Maybe Hudler as well. That's about it. When someone like Jones has the puck, I just want to change the channel and see if bowling is on.
