Feaster best move signing Hudler. Signing Russell.
Bad decisions the majority of the trades he made.

May want to check out the TSN feed when it starts if you are getting choppiness from the flames website:

Not that I think Niewy is the man for the job but I find it funny people are throwing him under the bus for bad trades when Feaster almost lost a 6th overall pick for nothing and totally fumbled the biggest trade in franchise history

The ROR situation was so bad because it would have been a terrible move if it had gone through and they gave him up or a terrible situation if they didn't match and NHL declared him on waivers.
The only way we came out good is that the Avs matched.

Holy out of the blue, Batman.
Between all the new players, the Burke hiring, and now this, 2013-14 is definitely the most exciting season for the Flames in quite a while. Just please do not let them hire Joe Niewendyk as GM.

Wheels spinning and the bus not moving would be better than eventually letting Feaster drive the bus off a cliff.

Burke loves American coaches, I'd say Ward or he hangs onto Hartley until Laviolette is done with the olympics

The Flames link is loading choppy, the TSN one hasn't started yet.

Never like to see anyone lose their jobs but this is a good day for the Flames as IMO things were just too Mickey Mouse under Feaster and Wisebrod.

Yes ROR was enough to get any GM fired. Was way worse than what Tallon did.

Lets face it. The only reason why you bring a guy like Nieuwendyk in is because he has experience taking Burke's orders.
And if you want to be conspiracy minded while considering that earlier Mirtle tweet - the 'dysfunction' could well be that Feaster wasn't willing to simply be Burke's yes man.
