An AHL goalie would have saved that. Brodie was at fault but your goalie has to make that save.

Agreed, D.Sutters teams had to go through that too, I remember when they were blowing small leads but they did improve. Seems we are starting to get our goals down we just need to learn to play a good 3rd period.

If you can't score more than 1 goal don't expect to win many games.

I can't believe how many passes Berra gets for the crap he pulls.
He has problems with his game (overplaying the puck, losing his net, cheating off posts).
The NHL is not the place to be fixing this stuff. Granted, he's better than he used to be, but still frighteningly unreliable.

Ramo is the same, just a different brand of scary (King of the 40 foot rebounds, has all the lateral agility of King Kong ascending the Empire State Building, etc).

Neither one should be here in 2 years time, and that's ok for a rebuild.

What was missing also tonight was the usual push back you'd see when they had blown a lead. They quit skating in the third and allowed the Bruins to dictate the play.

We are only 1 point away from last in the west.

5th last in the NHL (though we have many games at hand).

I think 3rd last is as low as we're going to go. Bennett, Dal Colle?

The knuckle ball shot of Hudler should never have gotten past Rask.

If the Flames are going to lose I'd rather they not lose because of terrible goals.

Hartley mentioned that he didn't want the team opening it up with high scoring teams, I think this is just a phase where the team is learning how to play good defense as a team. Scoring will come plus we are missing a couple offensive guys.

Really good game by Baertschi. Colborne too. Great game by Brodie until that second goal. Tough loss.

I'm happy this was nowhere close to the Boston Massacre the last time these 2 teams faced off.

Calgary could really use Glencross and Monahan's offensive skill right now.

I ain't even mad either.
