Ah, yeah . . . true. I do know Axe Music carries Crate, but not sure if they've got any sales planned for this weekend.

OK, the ones for $99 are the Sennheiser PXC 250 II (regular $249.99). The flyer also shows the Sennheiser HD 360 Pro for $49.99 (regular $149.99). I know nothing about these other than that Sennheiser is a pretty well respected brand. Does anybody know what the main differences are? Is it worth the extra $50 to get the PXC 250 II?

I'm mostly planning to use these at my desk at work which is a fairly quiet environment most of the time plus some travelling, so I don't necessarily need complete noise cancellation. I'm also going to using my iPhone as the source so if you're an audiophile that wants to answer "it doesn't matter it's going to sound like garbage anyway" that's fine too

Interesting. The image on the flyer and model# associated with it refers to the PXC310 which are the wireless models normally at $299.

The 360HD looks to have some complaints about the pressure on the ears, so if you have a large head/glasses you may want to stay away. Even if you don't use the noise canceling function at the office, it's quite handy when you're traveling. Being very portable, it's hard not to go for the PXC310's.

Yeah I just saw that too. The price isn't terrible there. Maybe I'll pick one up.

Wait...how can we mark Black Friday in Canada? Isn't that part of USA Thanksgiving?

It seems more like a marketing ploy.

Some of the best deals I've gotten lately on musical equipment have been from http://www.lamusic.ca/ . They have a sale on right now, check it out. Free shipping.

That is interesting. I got the model as PXC250II by clicking the item in the flyer and then clicking "Go to Product Page". You're right though that the number listed is actually the 310. Thanks for the correction and the advice.

More like Thankskilling? Amirite Morrisey?

http://pitchfork.com/news/53154-morr...turkey-pardon/

Please ignore the abysmal example set by President Obama who, in the name of Thanksgiving, supports torture as 45 million birds are horrifically abused; dragged through electrified stun baths, and then have their throats slit. And President Obama laughs. Haha, so funny!

I am pretty sure Black Friday deals in the US are just a marketing ploy as well.

Do the 310s have active noise cancelling? It doesn't say so on the product page, so I'm assuming they don't.

Would you mind picking me up a fully automatic assault rifle with about 100 loaded 50 clip magazines, kthanx.

I need it for squirrels.

Reviews on Amazon show that there definitely is, just built into the headphone.

Sears has sodastream jet bundle for $99.99. I have no idea if that is a good price compared to elsewhere, but it says 40% off

Are the deals for tvs during black Friday usually good and worth purchasing vs waiting 6 months? Just deciding if it's better to wait for my new place to be developed and buy or buy now and keep it in box.

Edit : I'd like to get a midrange 55-60 inch of that matters

40-50% off everything at Brooks Brothers. Picked up two suits, shirts, socks and ties for around $800.
