How do the Black Friday deals in Canada generally compare to Boxing Day?

Traditionally I think Boxing Day deals are a little better in Canada, but I also feel like the boxing day/black friday deals arean't what they use to be and some of the "deals" they advertise are on par with what you can find through out the year.

If there's something you're eying up and it's on sale on Friday here, I personally wouldn't wait on it in hopes of a better boxing day deal, but that's just me.

Hey - I'll be doing my due diligence to look on my own, of course, but if anyone comes across a deal on the actual sodastream machines (or a good bundle of machines+stuff, since their margins on machines are razor thin), I'd appreciate a heads-up.

Haven't seen a single hot deal =/

Will probably end up buying the Wii U at $250 somewhere but even that is pretty warm considering walmart has had their Wii U at $250 for the last week.

Two places to get a WiiU deal:
1) PM at ToysRUs if they're still at a higher price than everybody else, they'll take off 10% off the competitors price to $225 before tax.
2) If not there, Superstore is doing a no tax thing on all deluxe WiiU bundles, price at $250

Canadian Tire has the Sodastream Starter kit on for $67.49 (25% off). Sale starts tomorrow (Thursday).

Have we seen any noise-cancelling over-the-ear headphones for a good price yet?

Anyone know of any online music stores with deals on instruments and such? Hard to find a good dealer in Canada.

Not sure exactly what you're after, but I've dealt with these guys before and had good results. Might be worth checkin' out.

If you're looking for something in Canada, looks like Long & McQuade has a 2 day 'Black Friday' sale window as well.

If anyone sees something in the states that they can't live without I am visiting family for Thanksgiving. I will be back to Calgary on Sunday. I probably won't be camping out or going to stand in a massive line for anything but if you need something I can try to help.

Wow, that is cheap. I'll have to look up some reviews on those. Thanks.

Walmart has RCA's on sale for 169. Best buy I think has their brand insignia on for the same price

Long & McQuade is great, but unfortunately they do not carry Crate amps.
