Darn next episode is already the season finale and they didn't touch on any of the real-life gangster side plots tonight with the exception of Eli going to get that meeting organized.
If only they could keep them connected this show could really use a spinoff or ten.
At least it looks like the Gillian story ended, more time for the good stuff next year (Capone-Moran!)

The finale better really ramp up or this is definitely going to be the least satisfying season.

You called it SCD. Pretty cool how he was part of Pinkerton's.

Chalky has to be the hardest man to kill on the planet. How many more lucky breaks does this guy have?

The Wire ended over 5 years ago ... I feel zero guilt.

Good point. Who wants to go talk about the end of The Shield in the Sons of Anarchy thread?

Yeah, that was a great scene. Really felt her world crashing down, right after reaching nirvana.

That scene between Gillian and Richard was great - after all the times she treated him like #### it was nice to see him come out on top over her.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. Specifically about that little quip she made when Richard was gluing the picture in his scrapbook that he got taken at the fair with Julia and Tommy. She said they could never be his family, and now they are exactly that.

Awesome job by the writers working in Pinkerton though, wonder if that means Roy will be sticking around. I also think Junior Soprano was the one who set Gillian up, I would assume so that Tommy could be free from her.

I'm not sure if he set her up or was just there as her legal representative to corroborate her confession.
I'm not really sure how the authorities handled that kind of evidence back then, but it could factor into tonight's episode as Knox is trying to get the gangsters in a room talking about their syndicates. I assume he is trying to do the same thing as the detectives did.

After Roy tells her who he really is, "Uncle Junior" walks out and says, "I owed Louis something. I'm sure you can understand that." Louis was the Commodore's first name.
