Screw the Riders. You didn't beat us, our moronic players beat themselves.

So is this now 5-1 for the Riders over the Stamps over the past 8 years?

And for those who say the turnovers aren't his fault: turnovers are one of the most important parts of the game. If they're out of the coach's hands then, what, football is largely a game of chance?
You must have had a few beers...are you saying the coach is directly in control of turnovers?

I guess the only good thing out of this is we will NEVER see Glenn or Fraser in a Stamps jersey ever again and that the Riders will lose the Grey Cup at home!

Awful to see that the Riders didn't have to do anything spectacular to beat the Stamps.

Calgary Stampeders did not lose to the Riders. They lost against themselves. Those fumbles are inexcusables, those dropped passes are inexcusable. Larry Taylor booting the ball late in the game was inexcusable. Receivers dropping the ball is just plain bad... these guys been catching the ball all season. Our defense showed up early but the rest were not concentrating properly because they were trying to compensate with the interior defense. Hughes, Law and Simpson was not aggressive enough because they were afraid that if they were Riders will beat the interior defense so bad.
As far as the quarterbacking is concerned, i don't think we can blame Glenn 100% on a bad 1st half except for those 2 INT. Drew Tate also cannot be blame for not scoring enough in the 2nd half as Sinopli fumbled once and dropped the ball on another.

This is the kind of lost that I cannot stand.. If Saskatchewan beat them with the turnovers, i can take the lost...not lightly but better than this lost. It's sucks that the injuries hurt us in this game as Durant, Sheets, Sanders and Riders OLine took advantage of our backup DTackles. But Stamps have to overcome with the injuries all season so I guess we can't use it as an excuse. All in all, we lost with all those freaking fumbles.

Disagree with Sinopoli, he's totally serviceable for a Canadian depth receiver, even if he played poorly today. If you can find a better Canadian receiver to replace him with, great. But keep in mind that with Ottawa joining the league, finding your Canadian talent is going to be even more difficult. There aren't superior Canadian receivers out there just sitting, waiting to be signed.

Riders will win at home next week. Burris in the cold is a sad story we've seen before.

How sweet would it be to see them beat the Riders at home though...

Forzani should be back next year. Parker needs to step up or get off the ####ter next year. Armstrong is waiting in the wings. Likely draft a receiver this year.

I don't care how he played all year but when it counted he choked hard. No room for chokers.

Lets face it. The 'C' in Calgary is for Choke. I don't know why but our teams more than often come up small in the big games. The players and coaches change but wether it's the Flames or the Stampeders you just know in a big game or playoff series that our teams aren't going to come through.

Yes you are correct, the better team DID win. Not sure why you told me to shut up if you agreed with me. You Stamps fans are so tense.
