I hate that the dome is so far away from me in Ontario!

Pet peeve #1: Those morons in their suits behind the bench, or anywhere in general, who have their eyes on their Iphones or whatever the entire game, and aren't paying attention. I realize you got the tickets through your work, but at least fake an interest, or give me the tickets.

The lack of seating space for the rotisserie and the people that sit there without getting food. If you aren't having the 1/2 chicken or ribs go sit somewhere else. You don't need a table to eat your pocket dawg.

Everyone should know the #1 pet peeve at the Dome is the cost of food and drinks.
2nd pet peeve is the frickin long lineups for the smelly washrooms.
3rd pet peeve is getting out of the Victoria Park area when everyone makes a mad dash to get away from the Dome to go home.

People who don't make any effort to get out of the way as you try and walk past their seat at a stop in play.

They need to give people more beer options than what they have. There's tons of local and regional breweries that would benefit from it and I know I would enjoy not being force fed bud every game I go to.

Why do you use that stairway? There are lots of other entrances into the club. That's actually a pet peeve of mine...people who wander aimlessly on the concourse not knowing how to get to their club seats.

All about the $...that's the reason the Dome used to just have Molson products, and now you can only get Labatt's products.

It's a shame that in a city like Calgary that is full of money and prides itself on being an economic driver and industry leading community that we have an eyesore and embarrassment like the dome.
|
Decrepit? Eyesore? Embarrassment? Get Real.
5 months ago the building was 20 feet deep in water. The building looks great and everyone associated with the renovation deserves a huge pat on the back. Like the Dome or not (I love it), watching the Flames there is better then the Corral or Saskatoon.
But Kaotik is absolutely right. Get rid of those stupid trucks. Forever.

This could also be avoided if they would get those sippy cup lids other venues have.
The more i think about it spilly saddledome eaters in general grind my gears. How the hell do you spill your nachos down the back of my jersey.
To summarize don't get food or drink at the game if you can't eat without spilling it all over everyone in the surrounding area.
|
Oh I'm the worst. I remember a game when we blew out Carolina a couple years ago, I was spilling beer everywhere, almost dropped a whole one on the lady in front of me. Looked at the guy beside me and laughed, he was not amused.
Then again, I happened to be drinking for free, and any time drinks are free I become a raging alcoholic. Free dome beer is a recipe for only danger. What was this thread about? Oh right...

My pet peeve is anyone who doesn't have a pocket dawg. Be gone with all of you heathens.
Also people who stand on the stairs waiting for someone, or something. I don't know. If you're standing still in any situation that is not A) a goal or B) a line or C) somewhere in the main concourse that is away from logical 'foot traffic' lanes then you're a terrible person.

Exactly, and to think some folks had the nerve to question me in an earlier post when I suggested every decision made by the Flames is based on the $$$.

Also, the lack of half chicken there. Last game they were sold out 25 min before puck drop.

My pet peeve is the fact it's so far away. Being closer to the ####### of this province is bad enough as it is.

People who complain about the saddle dome. I only get to go to a Flames game at the 'Dome once a year if I'm lucky since I live out of town. My dad and I try to make it an annual trip and it's always a great time and I'm always stoked to see the boys play at home! Quit bitchin' and be happy you can go more often than me!
