overheard a couple of staffers...person 1: "that's the wrong beer, we need a keg of ***light". person 2: "doesn't matter, they won't know the difference anyhow"
Pet Peeve 2
me: "can I get the pulled pork on the sub bun instead?" server: "no. we can't do that". me: "why not? it's just a bun." server: "we're not allowed to"
When you pay $8 for a beer, you should get what you pay for. Same with the food...what's next? I have to take mustard with that burger? Me thinks us fans are not as valued as we should be...

Pet peeve 1: They were likely just joking.
Pet peeve 2: When something like that affects food cost and/or portion size, I would understand why they can't make an exception.

Pet peeve #1: the saddle dome is a decrepit building that was poorly designed and should be blown to the ground.
It's a shame that in a city like Calgary that is full of money and prides itself on being an economic driver and industry leading community that we have an eyesore and embarrassment like the dome.

That was a special time and a special place. They never should have allowed such a thing to happen in the first place. While I miss the never ending cheese sauce I only look back upon that time with fondness, we all knew it had to come to an end.

Ahh, the joys of having "hidden" bathrooms 5 rows away from me. I forgot all about the lines in the concourse area.
Granted it came with less than what I wanted in terms of seat location.

Remember during the dark years in the late 90s they tried to change the nacho cheese? CP played a large role in getting them to make the proper decision to put the cheese back to what it was, with a letter and phone campaign complaining. For years later the concessions signs said "The Cheese is Back".

See, I like the new pretzel bun for the pulled pork. That sub bun was never baked enough. Now, the change to the chips is a whole other story.
