A history of the Call of Duty game resolutions across Xbox and Playstation platforms.

I'm fairly sure somebody photoshopped it though.

Spoiler!

^^I played Killer Instinct for about 5-10 min; had a big of a Tekken feel it. Was fun but not my type of game, but i'm sure others will love it.

Probably has been posted but I cannot wait to get my hands on a copy of Ghosts for xb1!

This may disappoint some.

One of the most interesting differentiators for the PS4 over Microsoft’s Xbox One rival console is the interlink with the Sony PS Vita handheld console. You will be able to play PS4 games on your PS Vita streamed over a wireless network with its “Remote Play” feature.
In the FAQ, however, Sony makes it very clear that “a robust and stable Wi-Fi connection and broadband Internet connection” is required to play PS4 games on a PS Vita. It “strongly recommends” that you only use the feature when the Vita and PS4 are both on your home network or at least the same local network.

I can't find the video, but one of the first promo videos I saw made it seem like that was the case, or at least gave that impression. I don't really know why you would want to play on your Vita on your home wifi network when you could just play on the PS4...

It would make taking a dump a lot more enjoyable I'm sure. Plus now the wife can boot you off the TV to watch Dr. Phil and you don't have to stop playing

It doesn' t say it won't work outside your Local Area network, just that the best results will be seen when on the same Wifi.

I'm sure we will be hearing about tests soon enough, but it's likely more to set expectations that people with 1Mb upload speeds shouldn't expect to be able to use it when away from the home without any latency.

Will be sweet to be able to watch a Flames game on the big screen, while playing PS4 on the Vita's screen.

The same reason you'd want to play Wii U games on the gamepad instead of your TV. It's more useful then you might think.

The PS4 is missing a few minor but unexpected things like the availability to play mp3's, CD's, no external HD's, etc. None of those are deal breakers or anything but the lack of mp3 playback may be a put off for some.

That's downright bizarre. What the hell Sony?

I'm guessing this means mp4 and h.264 playback is right out.

They're looking at addressing these issues - I imagine that these features will be added back in at some time.

It's no issue for me, my TV will play everything just fine.

I played a ps4 demo for the first time at Southcentre today.

The first thing I have to mention is that the Dualshock 4 is aweome. The little ridges around the edge of the analog sticks, the new matte finish, and the improved triggers feel great and they are very responsive.

I tried Killzone and Knack. The graphics did not blow me away, but I can see the potential. Part of the problem is that the demo stations in there were extremely close to the TVs.

Can we drop the whole "PC is the master race" thing? I am really sick of hearing that.

Good comparison between last gen and new gen with Battlefield 4. IMO the XB1 version looks just a little better than PS4. The PS4 looks washed out in comparison although the XB1 version had a few more noticeable jaggies but in motion it just looks a little better. However the current gen stands up pretty well and goes back to my previous comment in that the new consoles right now really don't offer a lot for the money over current gen. The XB1 has the Kinect at least to differentiate but otherwise not much else while the PS4 is basically a hopped up PS3 with a few features removed.

It'll likely stop sometime around when modular consoles become a thing.

I think that was linked about five pages back. I think there is a ton of compression (and associated artifacts in the video, obviously affecting both the Xbone and PS4 sides). Even at the "1080p" settings you can tell it's lost a lot - kinda like the massive compression that even so-called 1080p videos on youtube get.

I linked it earlier but this Jackfrags guy has 1440p videos of both systems that probably has relatively less compression and artifacting if you want to compare/check either version out. I haven't really found anything with more clear video so far myself.

Let me know if you happen to find more or even better!
