Don't forget 3 time Hart nominee. IMO that's what really pushed him into HOF territory. More so then his point totals.

Agreed. Brodeur and Selanne are most likely in before Iginla even retires, and then that's it. Who would be a better lock to get in besides Iggy when he retires? Shane Doan?

If Mats Sundin made it on the first ballot, then Iginla is a no-brainer.

I would assume Joe Thornton.

Me too, unless the front crest says Calgary

On a serious note, I'm curious if Iggy can pull of a 60-70 point season this year. I'll check in from time to time but his goals have mainly be bank ins from the side that went in due to luck/bounces. Haven't seen his big shot yet.

Pertaining to this thread debate - I believe Iginla is more suited to the Pens style of play
Funny how you were the one calling all the Iginla fans out first. But whatever, your right to troll.

Anyways, just because I cheer for the crest in the front, doesn't mean I can't cheer for the name on the back as well. Not sure why it has to be one or the other.

Why wouldn't he be able to? He pulled off 67 in his last full season and this time he has better linemates. I wouldn't be surprised if he pulled off 75+ to be honest. Maybe that's overestimating a little bit, but I think he's still got it in him.

Ah, Iginla is Iginla. Watch him light it up in November as he usually does. That's what I call consistent. 30+ goals again - maybe and hopefully. Just hope the Bruins utilize him effectively, not like what the Pens did with him last season.

His goal last night was a rocket blast from the point.

Looks pretty good on the PK; Hartley only tried that for like two PKs ever.

Then there's Brent Sutter who tried it zero times in 3 seasons.

So far the Bruins are doing a good job, not like the bonehead Pitts. Iggy's doing a good job too, and seems rejuvenated. I can only imagine what his numbers would be now if ........
If, if, if.

We were never able to win that faceoff and get the pass over to him.

Edit: Totally glazed over the shootout part. Thought you were talking about the video.
