Noticed the same thing. That's your two freshest set of legs and they are sitting on the bench. Neither did anything incredibly stupid while on the ice, both have blocked shots and gotten the play out of their zone so makes little sense why they haven't left the bench.

*sigh* Monahan over 12 minutes. Baertschi over 10 minutes. I hate this stupid narrative that people continue to harp on.

Yeah, no kidding, I have been quite impressed with their ability to deflect shots into the netting.

Not getting killed on the dot despite the fact Phoenix is top 5 in FO%. That's good to see.

I thought it was stupid as the context was taken wrong.
Ellar should ask if he wants some playoffs with the wine and gift basket.

Yeah, I don't get it either, especially with Horak who isn't exactly new around these parts.

How is it stupid when the 2 freshest legs out on the ice are on the bench? The rest of the team looks like they went through hell yesterday and are playing rather slow.

AS for the bolded part... get your head out of your ass. Not sure what Monahan and Sven have to do with Horak and Breen?

I find it's better to just spray your body with a water bottle and then roll in it.

Likely has something to do with the fact those two are barely NHL players at this point in their respective careers and he has a whole bunch of other guys who are.

That they are newbies? I thought you just said that it is obvious that Hartley doesn't trust newbies.

Don't know a whole lot about Been, however, in his few shifts he looks like he lacks NHL talent. Poor agility and mobility.
Big difference between the AHL and NHL.
